How do wards work?

<P>The damage it show is how much more dmg it is going to absorb before dropping off. It also has a timer on it till it drops so which ever comes first will make the ward drop.</P> <P>Example:</P> <P>Able to absorb 500 points of dmg</P> <P>Lasts for 30 sec.</P> <P>Which ever runs out first it will then drop. The previous post should answer your question... but just in case.Wards stop you from taking damage, they absorb it instead of you.  Wards are the mystics strength; not straight heals.<div></div>

It's probably the regenerating group ward you're seeing. It will absorb 4 damage from every hit, and then every other second it will regenerate to full (which is 4hp).
