Leg Bite not working?

Just put my 4th AP into Leg Bite and now the DoT goes off straight after its cast. I get one hit then the 'spell effects' icon for leg bite immediately goes. Anyone else having this issue? <div></div>

The icon for legbite in your maintained window is only there until your dog makes a successful attack and triggers the effect or the effect wears off (like 20 secs or something like) which ever comes first.

<DIV>Yep have to hover over the icons for effects on the mob to find that leg bleed (or something like that) pops up on mob when the leg bite icon drops from you maintained window.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

indeed it works.. saved me numerous times in pvp and with exile shortly i will need to respec for pvp once again =/ <div></div>

It works as Calendri said. You activate it and the dot damage begins with the first melee attack your dog makes. You should see the damage in your chat window and over the mob's head that your dog is attacking.<div></div>
