<DIV> Around level 33 I think ( Never been a Mystic ), The AE buff that is +290 to physical mitigation and a 42 physical ward.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> Does this mean is Absorbs 42 points of dmg every melee hit on the person? it regenerates every 4 seconds i think...so no it wont be every hit

It's a group ward that absorbs damage up to 42 points. It regenerates every 4 seconds so you will particularly notice it when soloing. I've found it particularly useful to upgrade this spell to master if you can since it does regenerate constantly -- it makes soloing much easier. Combined with debuffing attack speed and/or dps), you can reduce the damage you take just about to 0 for single white mobs. I think the master wards for around 70.<div></div>

Physical damage ONLY. Anything magical passes right through it.It's also not a "Group" Ward either. It's an individual Ward on each member of the group that regenerates every 4-6 seconds.Within those parameters, it works just like any other Ward.<div></div>

Every 4 seconds, it regenerates back to 42 points of protection. So you are not protected from hits that happen between when the ward is used up and it regenerates.I've also noticed that it will be used up before any other wards you have active. So it would grab 42 points of a 72 point hit and pass the other 30 points to your single/group ward. <font color="#ffff00">>>>Physical damage ONLY. If it is used up on one person, is it still available to protect the others in the group (in other words, in a group of 6 people does it actually become 6 single wards of 42 with them all regenerating?). If so, even more reason to upgrade it to master.EDIT: Another thing that I have noticed in a group situation -- it generates aggro for the caster. This can be a bit of an issue because when people in your group aggro a mob, when they get hit, it generates aggro for you and the mob will sometimes head for you (especially if the person being hit doesn't attack or draw aggro on themselves). The Defiler Buff wards about twice as much but only against magical damage.<div></div>
