<DIV>Greetings,</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Me & my wife used to duo all the time, so with our mains we went for monk & warden. After certain level, we decided to create an alt for this time her to be tank and me to be the healer.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So for the change I picked mystic on my alt and she took the monk. We are doing good since already past level 30's, since I've heard shamans are best fitting duo partner for monk, I would like some advice on AA templates that you used to go, especially for monk - mystic duo...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thank you for suggestions from now.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Go down the agility line ftw. It will help your dps so much which is awesome for small groups</DIV>

<P>I've small groups with a couple of monks I know,  and not had any troubles with agro unless preward with both wards on them.    I never did think I was doing much DPS  even if I'm spinning the priest solo HO fast as it goes.   In small groups where I'm trying to add DPS I use the stamina line shield bash for the small boost to the dps of all the casters including myself.   But not impressed with the things further down that line.  In small groups most the monks I know stay in offensive stance, and I'm pretty sure I'm not going to out DPS an offensive monk  but I never parsed it.</P>

<P>So Agility line is the way to go, any other line with left over points?</P> <P> </P>

As a monk she will do so much more damage than a mystic to begin with, that I personally wouldn't choose a AA line just for a bit of added mystic damage. I have not experimented with all of our lines, but I would think the damage adding lines only makes any real difference for us when playing solo.I picked the strength line (edit: strength, not stamina <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> after reading posts on this forum, and am very pleased with it whether I group, solo or duo with my monk partner in crime.Edit: But picking the agility line seems clever either way one looks at it, for the added crit chance for our wards through Ancestral Spirits. I will eventually, but will choose Spiritual Foresight over Tribal Rage (last step of strength line over last step of agility line) <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><p>Message Edited by Mettleine on <span class=date_text>05-10-2006</span> <span class=time_text>02:53 PM</span>

All fighters are tanks. All tanks has taunts. Ergo she's a witch, eh.. I mean. She can taunt very well. And since her damage output is like 10 times higher than yours, then she'll have no problem holding aggro. Don't worry about it at all.

I 2box a monk and mystic and for the mystic i've just gone the strength and wisdom path .I would say ritual's quite important to have for the bigger heals as when a monk does get hit by a tough mob it usually does a fair bit of damage..The extra grp haste stacks with the monks also which is an added bonus <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>
