<DIV>What stats are most important to the well-being (and less dying) of the mystic? WIS, I already gathered from the posts, but when I searched, I couldn't find anything about secondary or tertiary stats... my primary goal is to solo/group support/heal, not really raid.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks for your help <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

As a secondary stat, int will give you more damage output from your spells useful for soloing. I'm not sure exactly how much of a difference it makes, as all my sets of equipment so far have been all wisdom, but it should be noticeable.<p>Message Edited by Mettleine on <span class=date_text>05-08-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:19 PM</span>

INT makes very little difference to a Mystic because we simply don't have a large enough base damage for the bonus to work with.<div></div>

I say Wis, Sta, Str, Int, Agi in that order. You'll need the Sta to stay alive, Int and agi gives you very little. This is my way of doing things and works for me, but I'm sure there will be people telling you otherwise <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

I would give a slightly different order: Wis, Wis, Wis, Sta, Agi, IntAfter 70 levels of completely ignoring Strength, my current carry weight is 500 / 2000 . . . it's ridiculous.<div></div>

So all in all Int and Str could have helped us with doing damage when playing solo, but do too little to be bothered with. And Agi and Sta will help us stay alive, while this is hardly a problem for us :p I can see the use for Sta if frequently taking part in encounters having to deal with AoE damage though. No wonder OP have found so little information about any other stat than Wis <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Afraid so.What it boils down to is that both STR and INT offer good bonuses to damage in their respective areas of influence. Unfortunately, our base damage is so small that even huge amounts of either STR or INT won't do enough to make a difference.Since this is primarily targeted toward a beginning Mystic, there really isn't much I can suggest to help your DPS grow. In general, if DPS is your only concern, find yourself a good two handed hammer. The longer the swing delay the better. You'll get a lot less stats (in general) using 2H vs 1H + offhand item, but your DPS will be (marginally) better. Now, when you approach the end game there are some things you can do that will help some.AA's in both the STR and AGI lines improve your pet and therefore your DPS.Mystical Orb of the Invoker has a pretty high proc rate for good damage.Grizfazzles Mace also procs on hostile spells. But that is a long way away.<div></div>

<DIV>For a solo or small grp priest I would recommend WIS, INT, STA, STR, AGI.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Generally I ignore STA/STR/AGI and get as much as WIS and INT combined items as I can.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>We buff STR and STA ok so thats usually not a big deal but the INT definiately helps soloing out alot.</DIV>

You'll have insane strength buffs as a mystic so I'd ignore it. :p (I did and recently started carrying 1 box in my inventory.)Wisdom is very important. Did I mention how important wisdom is?Instead of what stat to focus on I'd suggest making sure you have chain armor. Really, not getting hit is what's most important after having as much wisdom as possible.Though, I'm tempted to say:Wis, Int, Agil, Dex, Sta.<div></div>

Find a good two-handed weapon for soloing. It really makes more difference than you would think. <div></div>
