<DIV>Its nice cause every 8 secs I get a "spell" that hits hard. What I have found with the maul is...now I dont know how this works or if what I'm seeing is correct but...having gone down the STR aa line..it seems like the Ward that Dog is throwing down seems to proc more often with this weapon. Tried my Grizzlefazzle mace...1.2 secs...and it seemed like it rarely threw the ward. Tried the Sawtooth 2 handed spear...same thing..hardly ever threw the ward...grabbed the maul again and it was firing off almost every fight. Maybe some of you guys/girls knows how the delay-% chance of a proc works but other then that..it looks cool and hits hard<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV>

I don't get their classification.  Are one-handed spear's considered 'Piercing' and two-handed 'slashing'? <div></div>

Yes, I mentioned both the spear and the hammer in that other thread about weapons here.  Those are nice, I am still trying to get the Sawtooth for myself, but I have the hammer and use it often for DPS.<div></div>
