Mystic or Fury to mostly duo w/ Swashbuckler, looking for advice

<DIV>Greetings, my wife has a lvl 50 Fury she played w/ me a few months ago, we took a break and now we are back and I'm gonna make me a Swashbuckler. We cant group much cause we rarely can play for more then 30 minutes of solid play time.   I have heard great things about mystic/swashbuckler combo.  She could mentor me w/ the fury but if mystic is gonna make a better combo w/ me in the long run we will do that.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> She just hates starting over again but will do it for me <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> (thats true love for ya).  Any way, do you guys think there would be that much of a difference at higher levels or should she just mentor w/ the Fury?  Mystics seem so nice w/ swashbuckler with the Wards, mob debuffs/slows, and buffs/dmg reductions she could offer me.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So, what do you all think?  I'm having hardest time w/ this decision.</DIV>

Its really about what you want to get accomplished. If you want to level quickly, Fury (even a new one) beats mystic. Just slaughter solo ^s at an insane speed. If you want to "push the limit" of what a duo can do, mystic will let you take harder targets, but everything will be alot slower. Also in general, the smaller the group you are playing in, the better a fury, the larger the group, the better a mystic.  <div></div>

We mostly want to be able to take out blue con named mobs for the AP exp/quests when we need.

Your best for your situation is to just go with the Fury. The key factors are: 1) A level 30(random number for example) priest is not as powerful as a  level 50 priest mentored down to level 30.  Mentoring scales the person down, but it almost all cases they are slightly better even before you consider any extra spells they might has access to.  For instance, if your wife's fury is level 50 or higher, she will have Porcupine.  This should be ALOT of help in taking down just about any blue named you come across. 2) Furies are just plain better in duoing for speed. The mentoring twist really puts fury as the obvious choice, as the main area where a mystic can claim a benefit over a fury (named) is mostly offset by the fury mentoring. and most importantly: 3) It keeps the wife happy. <div></div>
