<div></div>I figured I would get a page started for us in a wiki format, so that we can have some centralized information and so our information can be editted if the original contributors move on from the game (or are just too busy). Originally tried at <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/EQ2Mystic" target="_blank">EQ2 Mystic Wikipedia Page</a> But they seem to think its not encyclopedic enough.  If someone is interested we can try to put it up to thier standards, but I doubt it will work. Soooooooooo, I dug around and started a page for us on <a href="http://eq2.wikia.com/wiki/Mystic" target=_blank>EQ2Wiki Mystic Page</a> Right now it just has a poorly copied version of our spell list. Grrr....well it seems that information on mystics in EQ2 isnt encyclopedic enough for them, so its been slated for deletion.  But they have an entry for EQ2, so im not sure where they draw the line.  Maybe we can make it acceptable to them, but probably not it seems. Maybe we kind find some other similar place to house this information. <div></div>

Hmmm, well maybe Im being a bit too hotheaded about all of this. I think it would be valuable for us to have a wiki format page somewhere that we concentrate on keeping up to date. That said, I am not entirely sure where a good home for it would be. It seems like there are a number of EQ2 specific wikis.  None of which stands out as being the ideal place for us to put it. Anyone have an specific opinions on where we place it? Also, what all do we think would be valuable to have there? Spell list, Achievement list, anything else? <div></div>

Eethoon, I've done some considerable work on the eq2.wikia.com page. It's at least got a some-what professional look to it. There's no reason that it's not the "RIGHT PLACE" to put such a thing. As for www.eq2i.com, it doesn't work for me. Lets build on eq2.wikia.com and if it stays up for long enough, I'll advertise it's use in other class forums. Its mostly coming from my desire to be able to compare all the "such and such has more they can do in a non-MT group" and "All healing is equal, but such and such has more utility than my class". I really want all the priests to be on equal footing, but sometimes its a little silly how people complain with nothing to back it up. I think mystics have done a great job in working to state our issues and bring the data to back them up. If priests really want balance, the first thing we need is accurate spell lists for all of the priest classes. I wanted to do a defiler-mystic spell comparison and see where BOTH classes needed to be headed to be equal, but thier spell lists are all fairly out of date. I wanted to do a warden-mystic spell comparison and see where BOTH classes needed to be headed to be equal, but thier spell lists are all fairly out of date. Ad nausem. So my main motivation is to get ours in a good stable place where we can edit it even if Mystique can't. Once we've done the legwork in learning how to get it accomplished, Im probably going to get it started for Wardens as I also play a warden. And then hopefully it can move from there. All priests have broken spells, and balance issues...and what we really need to do is learn to stop the "Mystics will concentrate on getting Mystic fixed, Defilers will concentrate on getting Defilers fixed, etc". We need to be focusing on "Priests will concentrate on getting priests fixed". And we can't do that until each class steps up to provide the information, particularly spell lists. <div></div>

What if we got our own server and installed wiki software?  I've gotten some really good hosting deals from <a href="http://www.phenominet.com" target=_blank>Phenominet</a>.  I haven't looked at their packages recently, but at one time they had a package that cost less than $100/yr and gave you unlimited transfer and a free URL so as long as you weren't using your site to make money.<div></div>
