*** Combat ***- All Priests and Mages now do greater auto-attack damage when weapons are equipped.According to the update we should give more damage now. Does anyone have any logs documenting this? Any idea how much more damage?

Message Edited by dennisbp on 03-24-200607:51 AM

Just a wee bit. I was fighting some mobs last night avg dps of 93 tonight avg dps of 101. Not all that great. But the dog was really increased. I'll post more detailed info later.

The dog's increase is definitely noticable. The others are slight but together they all work nicely. The badger is finally working too :smileyhappy:

I noticed an overall DPS increase of me and my pet yesterday when I auto attacked. Not sure how much. My weapon says 30-91 dmg with a 75.9 DR, but my hits ranged from 45-150+.

Dog hits faster for sure, but it is still almost useless in terms of dps. I do like 80-90% of my dps by using spells, so I do not think that boosting melee helps mystics that much. I wish that they would finally get some sense and give mystic/defilers a self only damage shield to boost solo dps.

Actually the mage and priest dps seems to be less nerfed instead of buffed.

With the same weapon you still do way less damage than any fighter class

Take this with a huge grain of salt.

With no AAs spent other than the dog.

Dog pre fix around 8 DPS, after fix around 16 DPSMe and my screaming mace: 13 DPS pre fix, 17 DPS after fix.

This is against same mob, but thos mobs vary slightly in level. It is from a very small set of fights. The numbers vary quite a bit, so the ones I posted here are about average, but I could see a lot less and a lot more both before and after. I think I was the same level both tries (lvl 57).

For reference, my Pox (adept 1) comes in at just under 30 DPS in pretty much every fight (with a lot less variance).

/Merry

dennisbp wrote:Did you get any more stats/info Thedump?

I do. The problem is that it's not clean. What I mean is that I have my log files from fighting similar mobs, but it doesn't me that I vouch for the absolut accuaracy to it;

Buffing up my intel, I can hit 300+ DPS between me and my Dog.Maybe ill post a log file and infos hehe if I have time.My Wife is a guardian, i can kill a mob as fast as her (not sayign much! =P ).This is with round 280 int, Ritualistic Aggression at 8, and Master Plague, master Nuke.With intel buffs in a good group our nukes can do like 750 + dmg.Our melee is not that great, with with autoattack on to fill the gaps between nukes, itll let me hold liek 150 dps or more on my own.I wouldnt rely on just auto attack though unless you went Agility line.
