Out of group rez broken?

<div>I was in Living Tombs the other night, and saw someone had died. Being the good mystic that I am I began to try and revive them; I kept getting the message 'target not grouped'.  Now it's possible that they may have been reviving back to the Zone line, but it didn't appear that way.  I read LU19 carefully don't recall seeing anything about this if it has indeed been changed. I haven't test this in Raids yet, but I'm assuming it's working alright.</div>

Any spell other then "Revive" will not work outside of a group or raid. Mayhap you tried to use the in-combat rez?Other then that I've noticed no issues using Revive to rez out of group.<div></div>

You can use your normal, out of combat rez, on anyone. group or not grouped.Your  in-combat rez can only be used on a group or raid member, same with your AE rez.I ran into this same problem last night, in the living tombs, but once my group was out of combat I was able to rez someone (from another guild) just fine. You were probably in combat at the time you attempted the rez, and this would make your out of group rez not work.<div></div>

No, I wasn't grouped and I wasn't fighting.  And I like I said earlier, I tried all three, in and out of combat and none of them worked. I'll have to get me a guinea pig...<div></div>

   Was the person in a group with people who were still in combat? This will also prevent our out of combat rez from working.<div></div>

<div></div>I don't see why being locked or unlocked would matter, you have to be IN COMBAT for an encounter to be locked; you can't use revive in combat. To sum it all up, our single target spell "Revive" can be used to rez anyone, provided:A) You are not engaged in combatB) The target is not engaged in combatIf you have broken all encounters via yell you are not engaged in combat. I should have looked at the descriptions on the spells, but I guess they must have changed it at some point and either I missed it; or they didn't put in the live notes.  You can only rez grouped people..bleh<div></div>

Just a thought here, but if the player you are trying to ressurect has "encounter lock" on, that may prevent a rezz from happening.  I know you can heal somebody if they are not in combat and have "encounter lock" on, but I don't know about the rezz.  I do know that the "in combat" rezz will not work on non-group members.Just my two bits.<div></div>

Ulfgar is correct. I was using the combat rezes, and forgot about just 'revive'. However, I was able to use the combat rezzes out-of-combat and out-of-group. So they must have corrected what they thought was *wrong*, but it would have been nice to have had some notice.<div></div>

<div></div><p>This thing must still be bugged, i found a whole grouped dead and my group wasn't fighting and i couldn't use any of my rez spells on them. I ended up disbanding and grouping with their healer and rezed him. And neither of our encounters were locked.</p><p> </p><p>Kitt 63 Mystic</p>
