Been away for a long time. What Expansion do I need to get for level 60?

Hi there.  I played EQ2 at release got to level 50 was in a poorly organized guild on Permafrost so the end-game was horrible (boring), so I quit. I noticed they are opening a PVP server soon, so I am thinking about rolling a new toon for that server.  I doubt I will play a Mystic again, but I'm curious if any of you guys could fill me in on what has been added since I have been away?  i quit about a month or two before any add-on was released.  If anyone is bored fell free to go into as depth of a description of what has happened since my leave.  Explain storyline etc, how there came to be 60 levels etc would be nice to know.What adventure packs should I buy?  Are they worth it?  Why?Also any suggestions on a fun class to play on the PVP server would be helpful as well.  I know it's really a personal choice but I like reading other people's views.Thanks for any information,Somatic<div></div>

<div>Well I would suggest going through the front page news from where you left off.  But the first expansion is called Desert of Flames, and it brought with combat upgrade changes. It is difficult to go into detail because there was so much, but I would point to Live Update 13 as the starter point.</div><div> </div><div>The PvP option coming up is with the second expansion, which is called Kingdom of Sky. You do not need to buy Desert of Flames if you don't want to; content for KoS starts at 55, but you should have no problems there at 50.  If, however, you intend on joining a raiding guild you may have to purchase DoF.</div><div> </div><div>As for adventure packs...nothing has come out since Splitpaw.</div><div> </div><div>What to play in PvP...no clue. Why can't i order Desert of Flames via the game client?  When i click on "Expansions" it just says: Kingdom of Sky. Do you have to buy Desert of Flames in the store?<div></div>

<div></div><p>DoF is a mixed bag. There were a lot of good things and a lot of bad things in it; it's all subjective..some liked and some didn't. I, for the most part, liked it. </p><p>I'm not sure about DoF being included or not in KoS.
