<div></div><div></div><div>I have 2 pearls, I'm  6% away from level 51.  What would make the best use of them? I do not have any spell over adept 1 (except the master 2's).  I've also been working on getting cobalt armor and I have only the chestpiece so far.</div><div> </div><div>Should I have some jewelry made, upgrade spells, or sell for armor upgrades?</div><div> </div><div>I've read on another thread that getting Torpor and then a pearl orb would be a good idea with the first pearls, but I recently bought a fashioned nacre orb because I had nothing in that slot. I'm not sure if a pearl orb would be a signiffigant upgrade over that versus selling to get a piece of cobalt for armor.</div><div> </div><div>Thanks for any help you can give me, I appreciate it. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div><div> </div><div>Edit: I forgot to say that I only raid occasionally, and I don't really solo much, but I do duo with hubby and group with guildies most of the time.</div><p>Message Edited by Zeltaria on <span class="date_text">01-26-2006</span><span class="time_text">10:37 PM</span></p>

<div></div>Get Torpor Ad3 made immediately, no and, if or but. After that, you really have to base your choice upon how quickly you are leveling.  I wouldn't think that your damage spells would be a good choice, but you do have some debuffs coming in the next couple levels that would benefit from being Adept 3.If you are leveling quickly, you've got Rejuvenating Rite coming in the mid 50's that would be a very viable choice.  Chances are you'll come across other pearls before you need Learned Healing at L60.Don't forget to take your ST Ward at M2 when you hit L54.Cobalt armor sucks mostly for a Mystic.  The gloves are decent.  Cobalts however should be cheap compared to pearls and vanadium.<div></div><p>Message Edited by Banditman on <span class="date_text">01-27-2006</span><span class="time_text">10:20 AM</span></p>

If you don't want the spell upgrade, then you could also go with jewelery and secondary. That is WIS pearl ring and Pearl Orb. I have both and they are both worth it;Although, I agree with Banditman in terms of Torpor Ad3 would be definitely a good choice to go with also.<div></div>

Don't underestimate stamina debuffs.</p>

<div>Thanks everyone for the responses. :smileyhappy:</div><div> </div><div>I will go with torpor and hang on to the 2nd pearl for group ward when it comes. I'm sure I'll get some more pearls even if I have to buy them. Right now on AB pearl's and cobalt clusters are going for about the same price give or take 10 g. As a rule, I usually dont level all that quickly, but if I play regularly I usually do.</div><div> </div><div>I know cobalt isn't the best armor for wis except for a few pieces which seem pretty good to me, much better than what I have and probably more affordable than anything better. I dont really get to raid much (maybe 2 times a month or so for now) so I figured cobalt with it's mitigation would probably be pretty good. If there are any other pieces of armor that I should consider over cobalt that is fairly easy for my regular group who is approx a 55 guardian, 56 fury, 53 dirge and a 51 mystic (me) can get, I would appreciate it. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div>

The "Soul Drained" hands/wrists and shoulders are not too bad and have a decent amount of wisdom on then.. these can be bought off the broker for a few gold or off the named in Silent City.. I wouldnt worry about cobalt to much.. the shoulders hands and hat have a decent amount of wisdom on them but if your not in a position where your taking the hits then you dont need the mit from the cobalt.. I would personally go for VLA rare chest and legs as these have 20 wis on them each if you go for the producers version.. The Aegis of Scorn is a half decent fabled buckler that drops in Scornfeathers Roost quite often and can also be bought fairly cheap now and thats a zone easily doable by a grp of mid 50's.. If you come across any rare wood on your travels..the Ironwood buckler is quite nice now as it had 19 wis on it.. <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

<div></div><div></div><div>Thanks for the input <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></div><div> </div><div>I have managed to get my hands on a few more pearls and I just want to ask if this list is a good order and priority to upgrading spells as I (slowly *lol*) level, making sure to save some pearls for those really needed spells at the higher levels, so that's why the list is sort of out of leveling order.</div><div> </div><div>If there are some here that I shouldnt bother with or that I should have in a different order please let me know, I do greatly appreciate any input <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> </div><div> </div><ol><li>52 - Torpor</li><li>52 - Weeping Haze</li><li>53 - Grieving Soul</li><li>54 - Scream of the Ancients</li><li>56 - Transcendent Grace</li><li>56 - Umbral Sacrament</li><li>57 - Rejuvenating Rite</li><li>58 - Ancient Balm</li><li>59 - Umbral Attendant</li><li>60 - Learned Healing</li><li>58 - Foretelling</li><li>58 - Umbral Mettle</li><li>60  - Spirit of the Mammoth</li></ol><p>I did leave off the damage spells, i figured they should be considered fluff if i am so lucky to get more than the 12 important spells that I have listed above. (and no i dont have that many pearls, yet anyways <img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> but I'm sure I'll get the rest of the ones I need by the time I reach the level for that spell *crosses fingers* )</p><p>Message Edited by Zeltaria on <span class="date_text">02-01-2006</span><span class="time_text">09:33 PM</span></p>

<div></div><div>In regards to the nacre orb thing: the pearl orb is better, but not to the extent that you should upgrade it over the spells that everyone else listed here.  I am still using my nacre orb, and after upgrading all my heals, wards, debuffs, buffs, and even a few of my attack spells for the times that I need to finish something by myself (anything to help our abysmal dps), only now is upgrading that orb starting to cross my mind.</div><div> </div><div>Long story short, if you are strapped on the rares, upgrade your spells first. </div>
