<div>Hello all,</div><div> </div><div>I have been playing a mystic lately and received the spell Touch of the Grey a couple levels ago.  The description states that this spell has a 10 second slow attached to it but I have never seen this effect land on a mob.  I have tried singleing the spell out thinking that perhaps the slow isn't landing because it's not stacking with another of my spells but it still won't land properly.  Or is it landing and I'm just expecting to see what I'll never see?</div>

A few important points...1) Its a movement slow.2) Even slowed in such a manner, all mobs are still faster than players.3) I have seen it stick before, but due to the previous two points, I stopped paying attention.<div></div>

<div></div><div>Try this pull with slow (i.e. haze) and see how fast the mob runs to you. Make sure it's the max distance for slow.  Run away from that mob until reset. Now pull with touch of grey max distance -- you will notice the difference.</div><p>Message Edited by thedump on <span class="date_text">01-22-2006</span><span class="time_text">11:33 PM</span></p>

Then pull with something that actually helps, like stamina debuffs and really see th difference. <span>:smileyvery-happy:</span><div></div>

<div></div><div></div><p>This spell also helps with PVP :smileytongue:</p><p>When they try to ''kite" cast it and watch them slowly try to run away...! </p><p>In PVE, you could cast it on a mob to slow it's movements, which should give you a chance to cast a sta debuff before it hits you. </p><p>Message Edited by vicarious on <span class="date_text">01-23-2006</span><span class="time_text">10:53 AM</span></p>

I usually use DD to pull in zone's with a lot of mobs around. Although, I have noticed for some reason in DoF, that when other mobs are right next to that mob - the one not targeted also comes along. I'm not sure how this works, since they are not grouped.<div></div>

Only way to surely not cause social agro is through proximity pulling (inching up to a mob until it turns to towards you to attack) and then you have to have a feel for the agro range on everything you're approaching. There is also the possibility of pet pulling not triggering social agro but I don't know for certain.</div>

<div></div>I sometimes use the DD spell to pull simply because it has a longer range. Have also used it to "snare" a mob while my ranger partner bow kited it. This has worked on a couple of occasions where the mobs deal a lot of melee damage and he could damage the mob using ranged combat without  taking as much damage.
