<div>This post is more of less, in conjunction with the post about Cazel's I made. Talking with a few of the others in the guild, mainly the only Defiler--he was telling me that Cazel's stun is no biggie. I asked why, and he said he can cure the stun even when he is stunned. </div><div> </div><div>Is this true? More directly, why do Mystic's not get a cure that can be cast while stuned to cure the group?:smileymad:</div><div> </div><div>Does anyone have some more inside information on this?</div>

i always thought templars (or clerics in common? not sure here) were the only ones that could cast one spell while stunned (think it was sanctuary, but not sure here either)well, if i am not sure i shouldn't post, but well ... <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /><div></div>

Defiler, 55: Voice of the Ancestors (Adept III)Cures all hostile control effects on the party. The Defiler can cast this while under the effect of Stuns, Mezmerizes, or Stifles.-Dispels 85 levels of hostile Fear, Root, Stifle, Stun and Pacify effects on group members (AE)Mystic 58: Ancient Balm (Adept III)Cures all impairment types on target ally.-Dispels 81 levels of hostile crushing, Root, poison, Stun, Stifle, disease, Pacify, cold, magic, heat, slashing, piercing, divine, Fear and mental effects on targetI know which one I'd rather have, I'm not complaining.<div></div>

<div></div><p>Aye, the Manastone trick is quite handy at times. Hope it doesn't get nerfed!</p><p>As for our cure vs. the Defiler version, ours cures every possible impairment that can be cured in the game, theirs only seems to cure status effects, though being able to cure while stunned/mezzed is a plus. Note that not all impairments can be cured at all, no matter how hi grade your spell is.</p>

<div></div>I did not know that manastone trick, thanks. As for the cures, yes I am very aware that our cure does more, but the stun thing was what I wanted to know, thank you very much.

<div></div><p>Theirs is also AE...</p><p>Ours cures everything on one target which is nice but being able to cast while stunned/stifled and cure it not only on you but your whole group? Immensely usefull. We got the short end of the stick.</p><p> </p>
Well, the Defiler cure is on a 3 minute timer, I dunno how that stacks up to the Mystic one.<div></div>

<div></div>It's a matter of taste really, both spells have their merit.

<div></div><div>I would take the mystic cure any day of the week, the defiler one sounds cool and the idear is cool, but the effectivenes in acual playing is near 0. 95% of all ae stuns that hit you isnt curable so our cure does jack, 4% of the stuns that hit you is because you was in the wrong place at the wrong time so dont be and the spell is nothing youll miss.</div>

(not to menton that I've seen it wipe up to 7 effects in one cast) We so get the win on this one. Personally I'm glad to see there are at least situations where the defilers get to shine with theirs such as Cazel.

<div></div><p>VoA (Defiler Group stun / stifle / pacify / bla bla cure) does NOT cure Cazel's stun.. actually there are a LOT of stuns that this does not cure... there have been some talks about why we have a cure on a 3 minute timer like Sanctuary (buff that prevents controll effects) that does not cure everything, whereas the Templar Sanctuary DOES prevent Caz's stun from landing..</p><p>Pretty much all of the Epic mobs that stun, this spell does jack.. even at master 1.. although it does come in handy when you're running away from a bad pull and get stunned or rooted, to be able to break it and run.. other than that it's pretty useless until the day comes that it is "All control effects" as in any mob epic or not with a % chance of failure, like Sanctuary is.... or lower the recast to something more reasonable like 30sec to be inline with our other group cure..</p><p> </p>
