<DIV>Actually never thought about it before tonight, but are mystics the ONLY preist class with no form of wis buffs?  For that matter is there ANY other class that can't buff it's primary stat at all?</DIV>

Furies buff INT and STR.Conjurors do not buff INT.Just off the top of my head.

<P>Furies have a line that starts with Untamed Spirit at 32 that buffs both int and wis for the group.</P> <P>Conj however does not get any buffs for int, seems they in same boat as us.</P> <P>Was just wondering cause I have WAY WAY better gear than the other preists in my guild and yet I still lag behind on power pool versus some of them.  Ususally this makes no difference as I have more regen, but was wondering if this was unique to us.</P>

Might be nice if they removed Str portion from the ursine line and gave us a lil Wis kicker seeing as thats our primary stat and a self buff normally buffs a worthwile stat.

<div></div>Are you sure that Untamed Spirit still buffs WIS?  I thought LU13 removed that.  The ogaming list is woefully inaccurate, it in fact still lists spells like Dregs as improving elemental resistances.Inquisitors don't buff WIS.Defilers don't buff WIS.Not positive, but I believe that Necromancers also lost their INT buff in the LU13 revamp.<p>Message Edited by Banditman on <span class=date_text>01-03-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:07 PM</span>

Warlocks buff casting skills, but have no Int buffs (other than a level 15 or so sorceror spell).<div></div>

All in all, it's a mixed bag of who buffs what.  I'd like to see a Mystic with at least a self WIS buff, but I dont think it likely to happen.

Was talking to our guild Templar last night about this same subject..at lvl 57 she has a self buffed wis of 370 something. No fabled gear except her helmet and shield. She said she gets a huge Wis buff. If str does mean so little to Mystics..and they took the proc off our bear spell...maybe the self str buff should be Wis like the snowballer posted.

For just how little str means to a mystic <a href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=19&message.id=10219" target=_blank>see this post.</a> > Adding 199 Strength adds 5 (or less) DPS if all you(a mystic) do is autoattack.  >Of course, no one just autoattacks, and every time you cast a spell you are autoattacking less, >so the DPS added in a real situation would be even less.<div></div>

Yep...our guild leader has been working on a combat parser...one that tracks wards, heals, pet dmg and the liking. Beta testing it for him I was testing that out Eepop. With Str food from guild bank,  Avatar and Bear form...the increase to my dmg was hardly noticable over having them not on.

In all fairness however, STR makes a much, much larger difference for a true melee class.  A Scout would probably show a much greater difference from the same increase in strength.

<P>Huge difference. My guild leader is a 60 swash. With Avatar on him his dps goes way up, plus hes harder to hit, and has more hit points. Basically the self str buff lets me carry boxes instead of bags..any word on them changing this? I did hear something on teamspeak last night about the next expansion coming out in Feb? Would the Mystics on this board sacrifice a self Str buff for carrying boxes for a self Wis buff? I think I know the answer to that one. Maybe if they want to stop people from carrying around boxes this could be a change where they could kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Take off the Str buff(stop us uber mystics from carrying 20+ slot boxes), and hook us up with a Wis buff on the Bear form. </P> <P><A href="http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=news_announcements&message.id=179" target=_blank>http://eqiiforums.station.sony.com/eq2/board/message?board.id=news_announcements&message.id=179</A></P> <P>Message Edited by trin kahl on <SPAN class=date_text>01-04-2006</SPAN> <SPAN class=time_text>01:22 PM</SPAN></P><p>Message Edited by trin kahl on <span class=date_text>01-04-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:22 PM</span>

<P>If you know of a parser that tracks wards even remotely accurate you better share =P</P> <P>I have been playing with ACT (advanced combat tracker) and have been impressed by its features but it still does not track wards.</P>

<DIV>Oh definatly tracks wards and heals. The parser we had been using..I guess the guy that made it no longer supports it. So our guild leader who is a PC madman is creating his own. Having used it the last few days its really cool seeing how much you ward for. Going through some bugs/problems ( Ghost bear heals not tracking, at lvl 60 having problems letting parser know the fight isnt over there is still 2 enemys left in group) stuff like that. But I'm sure after he has smoothed out all the bugs and issues..it will be a big hit with healers and conj/necros. You'll get the parser Pai..once u line up against a wall and let my entire guild peg you with snowballs!</DIV>

how should that work? cept if you get the logfiles of the whole group or if you solo, otherwise the mystic does not get any messages from his wards. but maybe, when the stars are aligned correctly, we might get those infos into our logfiles, too some day, then happy parsing can start <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

<DIV>It tracks wards most definalty. When he finalizes the parser..and he has zipped it up for everyones ease of usage, I'm sure he will share. I use his ui mod that he has created and love it, and so far this parser rules.</DIV>

would be really interesting how, looking forward to it <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

<DIV>If you want to know how its done...ya gonna have to ask him<img src="/smilies/69934afc394145350659cd7add244ca9.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />   You can always jump in our Teamspeak and ask him if that kinda stuff interest you. I'm just helping him work out the kinks by using it and telling him whats not working.</DIV>

The only way to Parse a Ward is for it to be on the person doing the parsing.  There is NO other way, sorry. The person who writes the program *could* make assumtions to get you in the ballpark, for instance, assuming that AA is Master2 and using the known value for it and further assuming that the entire Ward is used up every time it is cast.  That would however not be completely accurate. If it ain't in the log file, it can't be parsed.  It's that simple.  Currently Wards only show up in the log of the person protected.  Wards can't be accurately parsed by anyone except the protected target until the absorb messages become global.
