View Full Version : how to get a Devs attention?
<DIV>Does anyone know a way to get a Dev to answer a post? Im sick of defilers buffing more hp, doing more dps, and being better healers than us, a defiler is better in every way. Mt groups dont want us cause defiler buff more hp, and now that sta is getting caped we getting even more worthless. Furies are better in scout groups with there str buff and better/faster heals. A mystic does not one thing better than any class. And debuffs are almost pointless since 3 or 4 classes are debuffing the same thing and its caped out anyway. So I realy want a dev to explain to me why defilers are better in every way vs a mystic.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Btw cant forget our [Removed for Content] pet that heals people maybe 5 meters away? while defilers get a ward pet</DIV>

well, a sad day where drama tries to enter our realm again <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> is this post aimed just at bickering or do you want to provide prove of any kind for your claims? and what is all that crying about not being in the MT group? isnt the important thing that a raid works well, the mob gets downed in a good way without zerg 'n stuff? /em doesnt have to understand all apparently... <div></div>

<DIV>Problem is that mystics are supposed to be more defensive (buffers) than our evil counterpart.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Hence mystics have better buffs (read: more resists, more additional effects, more permanent effects) as a result we foremost buff stats. Now HP can either be buffed based on stats or raw HPs. The striking thing is that defilers got a "more simple" buff that just increases HP by an x-amount.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>On top of that most raiding MT's already have skyrocketed stamina. Thus the effect of our additional stamina is wasted... On top of that ,the additional resists/stats that mystics buff do not seem to be very useful... Tho these effects might be debateble, a lot of guild just want their MT to have "the highest HP"...... </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Apart from whether our buffs actually matter, Iit might also be good to discuss the effectiveness of those additional HPs... For instance mystics give a lot of additional power over the defiler. And I would say that can be very useful as well...</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So this post might seem a bit drama-alike, I do see his point. I totally agree that a raid should work together to get the job done<img src="/smilies/8a80c6485cd926be453217d59a84a888.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />, but if in essence the mystic is designed to be more defensive and the defiler to be more offensive, then there is something wrong in the current setup <img src="/smilies/283a16da79f3aa23fe1025c96295f04f.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

Bord does have a point. Some classes have been improved to the point where they don't actually need extra hp or buffs. I know players who are farming named heroics and epic spawns solo. I'm not going to bemoan that other players have it easier, but truthfully they do. I like to solo or duo and the mystic class has been ruined for that. My duo partner doesn't actually need a healer anymore and our offensive skills have been curtailed to the point that soloing is tedious at best. Given a chance to reroll my mystic to a more offensive class I'd do it in a heartbeat. If the intent of the changes was to push us into a playing style we don't like to make the game more social then I would say in my case the idea has backfired. I play my mystic less and less because it's just not FUN for me anymore.
