Pretend to be dpsing while everyone else does the work

<--Agree with the 2nd post

No huge need for a shaman in group there. Of course it's nice to go and clean up the scraps from the master at the end but a DPS grp with 1 healer flies through there. Sweet fabled wisdom wrist drop from Cazel though on occasion.

I have been in several groups to mesa. Main reason? Debuffs. Most don't think it but sta debuffs help a lot!

How to finish Cazel's Mesa in less than 7 minutes:60 Berzerker59 Conjuror60 Wizard60 Ranger60 Templar60 MysticSix minutes and thiry four seconds. Our goal is 5 minutes. What we did to that zone in those seven minutes is a crime in some states.

A bit of a spoiler. As per Banditmans post you'll notice the following crucial elements for that instance:1. DPS - Must have. Or don't waste your time (Wizard / Ranger / Warlock / Necro)2. Templar - Very nice to have. Can cast immunity to the stun3. Conjuror - Nice to have . Pet can take the first hit.It is clearable without a Templar, but really they rock. With their sanctium spell you get 30 seconds to kill it without worrying about stuns. Without a Templar best to grab a mezzer also, then you can zerg it if necessary.Banditman's setup is nice, but the ideal setup (if you're a purist) you can really take out the mystic for anything, and in that case, a DPS class would serve better.60 Tank60 Templar60 Conjuror/Necro60 Wizard60 Ranger60 Wiz/ranger/warlock/Assasin/NecroThat's the ideal setup. Mystics do get asked in mainly if there's already a Templar and for the reason to debuff and if one healer is down, the other can help try keep up the tank. However if you have a lot of DPS, the battle wont last that long for the debuffs to matter much imo.Note: we did manage to take Cazel down with only a lvl 56 Mystic lvl 58 Inqusitor and lvl60 Illusionist (+tanks +dps), but only had 2 of the group members standing when it was done.Cazel was made for Templars really. Any other way to clear it and you can really pat yourself on the back.

Message Edited by BBoucher on 01-10-200602:31 PM

Defiler anyone? hehe. However it's more the reduction in mitigation that matters. Spells get like a 12% boost in DPS from it. A lvl 40 Wizard with a max nuke of 900 for the same con enemy, may nuke for 1050 odd if the mob is debuffed.

Message Edited by BBoucher on 01-10-200602:28 PM

Any healer will do, its very very easy to heal in there. The ideal group for this is in my eyes

Any scout

Any stun class

Any healer

whatever

whatever

whatever

ive done it countless times with a dirge, a zerker, myself and whoever else wanted to come. Cheap shot -> Slay -> DPS -> dead cazel, dont ever get stunned.

We cleared it with one mystic (me) as the only healer but had a coercer.

Basically you mez cazel himself, take out the adds, and cazel is cake. :smileyhappy:

You only need 1healer for this zone. I can easily heal for this and debuff while doing it.

My group consists of :

60 Mystic

60 Zerker

60 Bruiser

60 Conjurer

60 Necromancer

We have done with 4 before but it takes a little longer.

Saramina

60 Mystic

Nektulos

Bruisers have a self version of the sanctuary spell that helps if he is tanking the last mob. Benn my experience that he only stuns on the first hit, after that its just a knockback

Your experience then is inaccurate.I can safely assure you that Cazel will continue to stun - AE style - if allowed to do so.
