Whatever your monk friend can't avoid will be absorbed by the ward till the end of it's duration. Obiviously, if the mob does more damage then the ward can absorb then the ward will drop. This was the BIG change with wards a little while ago. Hope this helps.

Wards and regens both work just fine on monks. The only healing method that lags behind any on avoidance tanks are reactives, and even then its not so bad. <div></div>

I've gone all my EQ2 life duo'ing my monk and mystic - it's been a great combination.
