<DIV>If you have not started the Swiftrider quest line in PoF you need to.  The ultimate neck reward is the Necklace of the Sword of Ro.  The stats are 16 int, 16 wis, 16 stam, something else. 660 vs Heat and FLOWING THOUGHT 1.  This is better than a pearl item (I cannot find it in myself to type out Pearl Neck...., because of the connotation HAHA )</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Good item, I would like it up and give you a screen shot, but I am tired this morning.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Mystt.</DIV>

<DIV>Yes i had a helluva suprise yesterday because i was wearing the reward with its previous stats (+9 to the 3). I inspected myself for the heck of it and spit my beverage at the monitor.</DIV>

<div></div>first you have to follow the quest series from sargeant Tuskin (Swiftriders Camp), after that Disciple Shula (Ortallian Camp)  quest series. She then sends you to Siraj al Din (Char'Gin camp) for a series of quests. last one is "Into the Past". reward: Amulet of the Sword of Solusek Ro <div></div><p>Message Edited by shirka on <span class=date_text>11-24-2005</span> <span class=time_text>05:35 AM</span>

I had to start Ghassan the Trader's quests in SS to finish the quest line for this neck item. Diciple Shula wouldn't give me a couple of her final quests because I had not done the pre quests alluding to the medallion. Ghassan then sends you to Rashad, who sends you to the Swiftrider camp.

Yeh, that quest series really makes me want to level to 57 a bit faster! And the quest series from Tuskin has some +12wis boots that can be worn at 51 if i remember correctly, a bit too much running around in the series. But the overall money/xp makes it worth it even without that really nice end reward.

<DIV>As far as boots are concerned, you should be wearing Eboots!  Flowing Thought 5 plus wisdom.  Hands down the boots to wear.  Other notable boots are:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Prismatic Boots :  Eye kill from Poets</DIV> <DIV>Legendary J Boots:  Hertitage Quest</DIV>

Oh, thanks for reminding me! completely forgot about the bootquest after DoF arrived. I can shoot a white stick at the prismatic stuff tho, playing in a casual guild, so no raiding thus far <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />

Poets is a single group instance.  That is not a raiding area.  The 2nd level is where Aysor and then his Eye spawn.  Take a single group...Aysor is pretty easy, but the Eye is somewhat of a bear,  you will need a cleric (need reactives) and a Mystic/Defiler for heals and wards.  You can be casual and do the poets access quest and take an hour to kill poet named.

<P>LOL paisan is right, you don't need any class in particular other than a tank...any other good healer (assuming you are also a good healer) plus some dps will do. Poets is casual friendly yes...you don't even need a whole group with access to enter, and the drops have been increased and improved since DoF was released.</P> <P>Oh one more thing - there is a raid version of poets, just like there is for Living Tombs, which is very different than the one group version.</P>

<P>I like that Pi.  I should have said another healer.  I still believe that there are instances where a cleric is needed, but not in the case of Poets.</P> <P>PS.  yes there is a Poets Raid instance, and a Shimmering raid instance also <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P> </P>

The only instance that I would highly recommend a templar for is Cazel's Mesa, as sanctuary makes the job ALOT easier. </blockquote></span><div></div>

Can i point out those boots don't just drop from that eye, i got them from one of the ring events on the third floor. All the loot is random up there. <div></div>

I can solo heal Poets.  It's hard on some of the named pulls, but I can do it. You can do it too! The only thing I may have that a casual player may not is Adept 3 Learned Healing.  The rest of my spells are pretty much Adept 1 at this point, except Sacred Aegis which I chose as Master 2.

There is also a very nice fabled Shaman only necklace that drops in the Shimmering Citadel x 4 instance, called Necklace of Inner fire (+20 wis, +14 sta necklace), from the Black Queen's fire pet.   Was lucky enough to be the only Shaman on that raid.

<P>Cazel Mesa is definitely doable with just 1 mystic as the healer, and after doing it a few times you will barely raise a sweat.   The trick is to do everything you can to avoid getting aggro after Cazel's ae stun.  before Cazel's stun goes off, by ensuring that a ward(s) is not on the tank, and letting the tank drop into yellow hp before warding, Cazel will be dead before you know it. The problem I had initially was Cazel running straight over to me when the ae stun went off. This is not a problem if you delay casting the ward</P>

Ancient Balm should cure the stun if you can manage to stay out of range and not get stunned yourself. We use this tactic on some other named in some stupid instance, been so long I just don't remember what it was, maybe Scornfeather.

<DIV>So, it has always been my understanding that Cazel's AE was at least as big as the Area he is in.  Once stunned Mystics cannot unstun our group.  Defilers can (sucks I know).  Never the less,  I would love to hear some group config's and strats on Cazel with only a shaman(frannkly I dont see this as possible).  My guild has beaten him with a tank and couple DPS and a cleric and myself.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>The cleric is only for the buff that gives the 30 second, protection and burn him down.  Suggestions? without a cleric?</DIV>

<DIV>For some odd reason adept 3 Ancient Balm doesnt cure Cazel's stun, atleast it wasn't for me, so I manage it by just ensuring there is no way i can get aggro when the tank is stunned</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Scornfeather ia a blast, especially as a duo with a tank.  A couple of the namers have short range stuns, though these are easily curable</DIV>

<DIV>Necklace of Inner Fire from SC x4 Raid zone drops alot and its stats have been upgraded</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>22wis 12sta other stats also + alot of resists.  It is a fairly common drop.  I have seen 5 of them drop.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Toobig 60 Mystic 60 Sage</DIV> <DIV>Betat Testing PoF since Release!!</DIV> <DIV>Malice</DIV> <DIV>Shaman > Druid</DIV>
