New 51 Mystic and slowing down to small the roses

<DIV>Hi all. I have just turned 51 and decided it was time to make some effort to make some serious upgrades. My husband and I play together mostly. He has a level 51 paladin, and I obviously heal for him and dps on the side as well as slow and dot of course.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have the rares to make cobalt armor and am ready to do that. I chose the spells ancestral ageis, ghostly ward, spiritual healing, and spectral ward, as my master II upgrades.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have a pearl and a couple rubies for spell upgrades for Adept III's. I am thinking about jewelry purchaes. What should I be thinking of ... wisdom, intelligence, power, or upgrades. What is the most important atribute for a mystic and what is the number cap of that stat at level 51 ? Does it go up by a certain formula per level ?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks all.</DIV>

<P>Make Torpor Adept 3 with your 1st pearl/vanadium end of story.</P> <P>I am a big advocate of spells over gear for rares as a mystic so i would put most all yor subsequent rares into the spells as well.</P> <P>For Ruby/rhodium how many is a couple? I would do Runic Talisman #1 and then anything 47+ with avatar chimerik and oberon being at the top of that list. </P>

<P>Definitely use the rubies for spell upgrades.  The difference in a ruby wis ring and a bloodstone one is not worth it.  Pearl jewelery is nice, but spell upgrades are a better use.</P> <P>Also imo, a full cobalt suit would be a waste.  Your husband is taking the hits and a lot of cobalt pieces just dont give stats you would use.  Id research the pieces that would be good for you and then try to trade the rest of the cobalt for pearls/vanadium for spell upgrades.</P> <P>Just my $0.02.</P>

I very much agree with the above poster here concerning cobalt. There are a great many pieces of chain that have a decent clip of wisdom and stamina in DoF that are treasured. "Soul Drained" comes to mind, but I know there is more then that. <div></div>
