Best wand for lvl 43 mystic

<DIV>Hey all, I am returning to the game after a long layoff and getting used to all the changes.  I have read many posts by mystics regarding their DD wands, and have decided to buy one for myself.  I was wonder if any of you can recommend the best wand for a level 43 mystic.  Im not only interested in straight damage output (although obviously that is a great concern), but also in getting the best bang for my buck (or plat, so to speak).  So, if any of you have any recommendations, I would greatly appreciate them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, if anyone can tell me what the cool down time of these wands are, or any reason why I should NOT buy one, I would appreciate that too.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thank you.</DIV>

<P>Heart of Fear is currently broken.</P> <P>Screaming Mace named are a big PITA, even after the recent patch. Going on 2 months since I got the quest, still have 2 of the named guys to go. Stupid lizards are scared of me I think.</P> <P>If you find the rare, the playermade wands are quite nice. I buy cold ones, but as Calendri mentioned anything that we debuff works. I use mine all the time in between DoT HOs to conserve power/limit downtime.

Camp Blightwhip. Proudfoot morningstar > cedar wand ... use the gold you would have spent to upgrade a spell. Get your screaming mace, that proc is fantastic, I still have mine in my bag. Prismatic is still the best mystic wep. Unless the peacock quest has something in store for us at its conclusion. <div></div>

The clicky manaless damage was worth a lot more before they made our damage spells so efficient.

So far, the only thing I've seen come out of the Peacock Club line is the Mage Staff.  I was very disappointed.  It was a 2H weapon with stats far inferior to what a Mage would get from a Prismatic + decent secondary.  Prismatic is 12 / tick, the Peacock reward was 14 / tick. For the trouble you go thru to finish that line, totally not worth it. I'm sure I'll do it eventually, but it just went WAY down my list.
