cool looking armor

<DIV>I just completed my armor quest and LOVE the look of our aq armor.  Is there quested or crafted armor for later on in the 30s and 40s that has the same texture to it?  I really do not like the look of most chain type armor that has the "mits" look to the hands and does not look like chain or scale at all.</DIV>

I can't confirm if any still do though since I no longer have any of that kind of armor (other than my carefully tucked away AQ armor hehe). </P> <P>Crafted chain for the most part does not have the awful mitt look past lvl 30. I 'think' the rare crafted in 30s (feysteel) does, but I never had feysteel gloves so I can't confirm that either. The normal crafted does not have that look. I was debating making another thread that was similar to this, but in the interest of keeping forum excessiveness down...I am nearing level 50, and I am in desperate need of replacing some armor pieces.  I really enjoy questing for items, but I am having a hard time finding good information about quested armor pieces around this level.  Do they exist?  Drops and crafted stuff is really nice from what I see on the brokers, and I will go that route if I need to.  But questing to get stuff can always be fun.Any thoughts?  You can see what I currently wear from the link in my signature.<div></div>

MANY of the DoF quests provide armor. The entire Peacock club line of quests provides armor / items at most steps. The embalmer in the camp near the spectre tower has a nice line of quests that provides items.

Do some of those give chain rewards Banditman? All the ones I've done have given plate or cloth so far hehe.

It is really varied, and a lot of the quests give jewelry. I know I got at least two or three pieces in my current from doing those quests.  I am wearing a pair of +10 Wis pants for instance that came from the Peacock Club line. Whether they are Chain or Leather I don't know.  I typically won't wear VLA, the only exception being GEB's.
