<DIV>I've had that drop in a guildgroup before as well... fury won the roll tho. I suspect that when they put wisdom on the ironwood it would be better suited for us still... i predict 14 wis/int. Not to mention that pearl orb with its resists (i still refuse orb in secondary =P)  Its still nice and will be nicer once shield factor means something again.</DIV>

Shield factor does mean something and according to devs it always did just there was a display bug that ONLY on the persona screen didn't show the upgraded block % increase.  That being said this same shield is the highest preist usable shield factor I've found and with it eqipped (now that the display bug is fixed) I only show 5.1% block rate so it's not a massive improvement.  Likely a LOT more noticable for the tank classes comparing kite and tower shields though.

You could equip all that. Before you do i would ask what spells you have/are planning to upgrade to adept 3. This is opinion mind you but i have found it hard to make a single piece of rare jewelry while there are still spells left to upgrade. I personally do not have a single piece of rare jewelry but have a slew of adept 3's.

I also have 2 Vanadium clusters that I was going to make into ink for spells.(wouldve had 4 but the scouts in our guild needed rings) What spells do you use the most often Paisan? What 2 spells would you upgrade? I'm lvl 55 almost 56 right now.</DIV>

You should absolutely upgrade Torpor to Adept3. I probably use this spell more than any other. <div></div>

Yeah...my MT hates the slow effect though... He's a big guy...he can handle it<img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> I usally cast it on our paper bags full of lightning when they grab aggro for a sec. Does the adept 3 Torpor increase the slowing effect on attack speed or overall speed?

<DIV>On the spell discription does it say.... Slows target by 50%....AND....slows target attack speed by 25%? So the slow WOULD be in combat and he would notice the 25% slow. Maybe I read the spell discription incorrect, I'm at work so I cant look at the in game spell. And like I said....hes a big guy...he can handle it. My question wasnt weather I was using the spell incorrect or not...the question was if I make this an Adept 3 will the 50% slow(walking) or the 25% attack speed decrease...by increased if the spell was upgraded.</DIV>

If i were you i would do a select few spells with your rares... Torpor would be #1 on the list... then others like groupward (because they do stack now) our bigheal and maybe debuffs/buffs. I have done a bunch because i rarely have a power problem which is most of what better jewelry would give you... potency is what your spells give you.

<P>I like the Aegis of Scorn as a solo'ing tool.  I like the crafted Bucklers as resist gear.</P> <P>Tome of the Greenblood is a nice item to have in your ranged slot . . . +17 Wis and some other stuff.  Readily available.</P> <P>Tanks who complain about Torpor are fired.</P>
