Other non-main line spells...help out

<DIV>I just turned 60 the other night and wow...upgrading the last few remaining spells.  I start talking with a friend of mine and she is telling me that I have spells that are wonderful and not to often used.  So I come to the trusty spell list (that is awesome btw) and look....look....look...nothing hmmm.. Spirit of the Bat??? I thought that was a Fury buff that they received from the Bloodlines adventure pack.  Where did you get this spell from? :smileyhappy:

I've never heard about a mystic 9/tick in combat regen before either. This would be insane and i doubt nothing would have been posted on it in the past... maybe it is a totem for out of combat or a wand with consumable charges?

Well that would rock if we do get this spell.  My Fury friend has it and I believe he got it from the Bloodlines APK and we got Umbral Trap.  So I thought Spirit of the Bat was a druid only spell and Umbral Trap was a shaman only spell...didn't think we got both.  Don't remember seeing any spells on the Bloodlines Merchant that considered white to me besides the UT.  I'm going to check with my Fury bud later today. <p>Message Edited by Gakus on <span class=date_text>11-14-2005</span> <span class=time_text>10:49 AM</span>

Umbral Trap has a 3 minute recast which is why you don't hear much about it & the Splipaw heal is on the same recast timer as another heal (at least it was the last time I checked) & thus is useless. Never heard of us getting Spirit of the Bat. <span>:smileyindifferent:</span> <div></div>

Splitpaw heal has a 10% chance to give the caster more pwr...thats about the only reason I even cast it...if things are going fine I'll throw it up every once in awile...the proc sounds and looks kinda cool.

<P>Bounty of the Virtuous is our Splitpaw heal.  All Priests get this exact spell.  Nothing terribly exciting.  The power return does go off about 10 percent of the time.</P> <P>Drawbacks are that BotV does not have a "quality" upgrade available.  In other words, no Adept 3 or Master version exists.  Theoretically, this spell scales as you level up, but it seems to always come in as less powerful than whatever your current flavor of "Minor Healing" happens to be.  It also shares the same timer as Minor Healing, and therefore it's really something that most Mystics (and Priests) just ignore.</P> <P>The three minute recast on Umbral Trap is the main problem with it.  It's a Shaman spell, meaning Defilers also get it.  No one has ever parsed whether the DPS reduction stacks with Mourning Soul, since the recast makes testing difficult.  I doubt that it would stack, and even if it did, once every three minutes for 72 seconds ?  I dunno, not terribly worth it to me, your mileage may vary.</P> <P>I've never heard of a spell Spirit of the Bat.  It's definitely not a Mystic spell.  It might be a totem or potion I suppose, but it isn't Mystic.</P>

there is a totem of the bat or similarily called though for out of combat power regeneration -> you can buy the  spell, but it for sure is a fury spell, nothing shaman get. <div></div>

I also neglected to record when the mob ran out of power, but that doesnt really effect the question of whether they stack. <div></div>
