I am not much of a power gamer and a lot of the language here has me baffled BUT I did notice a HUGE change after getting the ward in question, game is down at the moment so can't check exact facts but it is the regenerating ward you get at 18 or 19.Before with a good figter I would rarely if ever be attacked, sure there were the occasional spawns, wanderers and accidental area attacks but in general all I had then to do was cast an emergency ward on myself and wait. Since I picked my group ward as master and I keep it always up in a fight I generally don't even take damage. That was until I started using that spirit of the badger or whatever it is called. Tank hits an ememy and it runs straight to me. First time it happened I was right back in Star Wars galaxy where spawns from a lair would seemingly at random attack those players who should not by any universe logic be attacked. I did try leaving the ward off and the game instantly went back to the way it was before. Can't wait for DDO to arrive.

Before you get this buff, fighters can usually get away just using DPS to hold aggro. After this buff they need to actually taunt and in general concentrate on what thier real job is: Holding aggro. The greatest weakness of any low level fighter is a belief that thier purpose is dealing damage. A fighter's job is to take damage, and make sure they are the only one taking damage. You are also making his job harder than it need be. Keeping that group ward up at all times is just getting you more aggro than you need. A priest's job is to make sure everyone lives to the end of the battle. Everyone lives if they have 1 hp. Trying to keep the fighter at max hp and warded is just going into overkill. Some threads about the Spirit of Badger Line ( also refered to as Runic as the versions gained at 34 and 47 are called Runic Shield and Runic Talisman respectively): Mystic Instant Aggro Mystics and Uncommon Aggro Tested Aggro Issues The original posts are from people like yourself having aggro problems, in each there are replies that will help you learn (and teach your fighter) how to keep aggro under control.
