I know that we wont be wearing the cobalt chain one, not if we are smart anyway. But I was wondering if anyone has found anything worth wearing up till now yet? I am lvl 57 and still wearing my handy dandy ancient rallosian (sp?) chestguard. <div></div>

Still wearing Ringed Coat of Shadows. There are some BP's with +WIS on them in DoF, I just haven't found one yet.

<P>Seeing as I solo a lot I have got a cobolt one. More than happy with it. Dont feel particularly Dumb either :smileywink:</P> <P>However for grouping or raiding the legendary cloth chest has 20 wis if i remember correctly. Just make sure you dont get hit.</P> <P>As for drops at 57 still looking</P>
The rare T6 vlight armor crafted bp has 20 wis, along with alot of the rare T6 rare vlight armor pieces all have about 20 wis on them. if you wanna lose the mitigation.

The Cambric has INT, or at least the one I saw did.
The bp has 20 wis, the shoulders i think have 14, the pants have 20 i want to say, bracers have quite a bit also, i'll have to check again to be sure, but they have a ton of wis, our coercer was sitting over 220 wis with no wis buffers in group.
<DIV>I have so far got the following t6 fabled</DIV> <DIV>20wis neck</DIV> <DIV>18wis boots</DIV> <DIV>20 wis legs</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There are alot of t5 fabled that is still good. Hardened Metalic BP works well has 15wis on it and the BP from Hard splitpaw has 18wis on it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I like how loot is more class spiciefic. I have seen a t6 fabled helm (shaman)only drop that had 20wis on it as well.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Toobig</DIV>

With the very light armors they made 2 versions of all rare crafted... one with INT one with WIS. How come they couldn't do that with the Cobalt chain? One for scouts one for shaman. They have most times done so with dropped armor for cleric and druid... Take a look at the shady swashbuckler in nek that sells heritage quest items, look at the versions of jboots out there... 2heavy 1med 2light 1vlight (only vlight classes are mages anyway. I think that shaman is just a very easily overlooked class. I myself am starting to get used to it.

Common and rare, it is just recently with the changes to T6 crafted armor that one set was made INT and the other WIS.</P> <P>That said, I agree that something similar to this could be done with chain. I play both a shaman and a scout, and some pieces are very well suited to one but not the other, etc etc. I'm sure amorers wouldn't mind the extra recipes either. Great idea imo.</P>

<DIV>Just to clarify - the 20 WIS one is the non-imbued canbric blouse. Once you imbue it, it drops the wis and gets 20 int.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Also, I still use my ROI, even though I had the cobalt chain bp made for when I am in a group with a chanter, or am in the arena. It might not have wis on it, but with all the wis gear floating around, I am close to 300 self-buffed wis, and when grouping with certain classes my pearl ring wis buff will bypass the hard cap and I won't get anymore power from the wis. Wis is important, but I wouldn't worry about one piece not having tons or any.</DIV>

<DIV>With cloth you do get higher avoidance. I currently use <A href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/item.vm?itemId=73669" target=_blank>http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/item.vm?itemId=73669</A> (chestguard of the seer). Sure it's low but it has +18 wis! :smileyhappy: </DIV> <DIV>I'm sure a medium T6 one exists but likely from a raid mob. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by vicarious on <span class=date_text>11-01-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:36 AM</span>

I doubt the benefit from wearing a robe covers the mit loss from a medium piece. The only situation i could see to wear this would be on a raid when if you get hit you are dead regardless.

There are times when I know that I won't be getting aggro, at those times, +wis is better than an infinite amount of mitigation. Mitigation only matters if you are getting hit. Maybe my tank is just that good but I get aggro less than 0.1% of the time, and thats with adept 3 runic and master 2 wards prewarding. <div></div>

<P>I know what you mean epop thats why i said the cloth would be good on a raid etc.</P> <P>I have also not been running out of power enough in regular situations enough to warrant trading all of my mit for a little more power. With that said... when it really hits the fan is when there are multiple groups at us and the tank does not have agro, in which case i normally do and thats when i like my chain.</P>

Are you talking about the Epic scorpion out past the Twin Tears ?
<P>Nope, just heroic, Noxious Lacerator or something. Not the B something mother. </P> <P><A href="http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/bestiary/ANoxiousLacerator.php" target=_blank>http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/bestiary/ANoxiousLacerator.php</A></P> <P> </P> <p>Message Edited by Geni on <span class=date_text>11-11-2005</span> <span class=time_text>06:51 AM</span>
