Holy Mystics batman!!

<DIV>On Mistmoore I usally saw another mystic every once in awile. Last night the raid we put together had 4 mystics and we had some issues finding a straight healer. We found some..Amberstarr..52 Templar was one. Just was wondering if people dusted off thier mystic alts after rebalance, or I've just leveled from 35-48 quick and caught a bunch casual mystic players. Is there any websites like ogaming that shows you the numbers of subclasses currently playing on any givin server?</DIV>

<P>To play the devil's advocate technically we are poor at healing but excellent at preventing damage =P</P> <P>Stright healer does sound like a lil leftover EQ1 brainwashing or pre-revamp mentality. I will take any other healer head to head keeping my group alive and do just as good if not better job.</P>

<DIV>Having never played eq1 or any other fantasy multiplayer online game, only shooters for me prior to eq2, a straight healer TO ME, not an end all statement or title, TO ME, is a Templar/Inquis-Warden/Fury. Not a big deal, not a leftover something or another from EQ1.  All I know is, when Amberstarr(53 Temp) and me(49 Mystic) are in a group...its pretty much game over for any npc. Getting us out of the green is a chore.</DIV>

Was chatting with my guild leader last night about you and your guild. Is it possible somenight that" The Pantheon" and "The GeeZers" maybe throw 2-3 groups together and go kill stuff? Being a smaller guild we used to smash the Angeler with no problem on Sat. nights. Since the Rebalance we have been kinda looking for other smaller guilds to raid with on the weekends. Maybe we can group up sometime and kill regular stuff to see how it goes? We have a Teamspeak server that is up all the time to increase the coms inbetween guilds. <P></P>Were actually in a decent size raiding alliance but theres always room for more raids. Ive seen you guys around before and have never had any problems or anything. Drop me a line and i can normally muster up a few people. We also have an offsite TS server and i can host one myself if need be. Look forward to <STRIKE>arseplay</STRIKE> grouping. =O

Yes and no. Our direct Heals are, pretty much, the same as everyone else's. We are still, overall, a little weaker than Clerics and Druids in terms of overall HPS and HPP.  In theory, our higher average working efficiency makes up for this.  I'm still not sold on this idea, but I'm not convinced it doesn't work either.

Heh its not often reading a thread on these forums makes me giggle like a girl. Stop trying to give that guy the bum rush! For the record, I have a 52 Inquissie and a 36 Mystic. Am now playing my Mystic on account of the healing ability being the same (level for level) and my mystic can actually solo and kill things too. The best healing class is the one being played by the person who knows how to heal / prevent damage. That is all. <div></div>
