<DIV>Haven't really watched the group ward, but Ancestral Aegis is healing when the ward runs out. I noticed this at the end of a fight after the mob was dead. As long as I wasn't full health I got a heal when the ward ran out. I know this is what the spell description says, but I have read over and over that it doesn't work. Seems to be now. Highest I noticed was +206. Healed whatever residual damage I had after the fight. If you have full health you get a message in your combat spam that says you heal yourself for 0 hit points.</DIV>

Yes I've seen it heal for nearly full amount of ward.   Cast on someone that was near death after a battle, and in 30sec they got full heal.   Cheap, if very slow heal.  By time 30secs up they had regened much of health anyway.

<DIV>My understanind was that whatever damage absorption is left when the ward expires is converted into a heal.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

This is correct, as it reads in the description. We finally get that heal at the end that we've waited for since beta. I believe the description was changed a few months back to reflect the fact that the heal was removed before launch, and it was changed back when the heal was replaced. Pretty sure all spell descriptions can be trusted now save for a few bugs. <div></div>

However, you can no longer "push" the Ward to a heal by recasting it. Incidentally, the Ward on Torpor is also considered a single target Ward, and converts to a Heal when Torpor expires.

That pushes that spell from awesome to AMAZING. I noticed a surge towards the end but i figured it was my attention span lapsing after watching it regen.</DIV>
