<DIV>Hmm i noticed that the Touch of the Grey isnt showing any duration icons for its slow component like its lower level version Grey Winds does? Is the slow portion working at all or is the duration icon just missing?</DIV>

<DIV>I doubt anyone can convince me there ever has been a slow component to any of these. I remember long ago checking the log files for the lower level one... (touch of the grey?) and would see a message that the mob was slowed by cold followed immediately by a message something like the mobs limbs had thawed. Whatever the effect was cancelled itself almost immediately on every mob I tried it on. (But that was months ago)</DIV>

Isn't a slow, it is a snare. And if you have ever had any of the spells in this line cast on you by mobs you know that yes, the snare component does indeed work. Don't believe me? Go poke at the Tae Ew Warders in Feerrott <G> (or if you are low level the Sabertooth Rune Casters in Antonica).

<DIV>I have been doing allot of solo work in SS and Ire of the Grey is the spell I use to pull mobs, the snare works great now. I can now pull with Ire and complete an HO before the mob even gets to me.</DIV>

While it's nice to see it working, I'd honestly cast Howl first then Chimerik as opposed to using DD right off the top. Casting Howl + Chimerik before doing any damage can take away up to 20% of a mobs health right off the bat. I'm pretty sure that we don't have any DD capable of that.
