Patch notes say this is working right, but since the spell description is so vague I can't tell if it's is or not. I notice when I cast that I get a small instant heal (around 100hp with adept I at level 45). Other than that I'm not seeing anything coming up in combat spam that would indicate it does anything else. Anyone know how this is supposed to work?

Good question! I was wondering the same thing, I get the same heal around 100 health at adept 1 but cant tell that it does anything else, although its more useful then pre-patch in which the heal was 35 or so it still seems pretty useless.. if I knew it had a decent use my guild has a master of it sitting the bank..

From what i hear, its still broken even after the 9/17 patch. Please take another look at it Dev's, or at least tell us what it's supposed to do so we have something to compare it too. Currently all it does is sit there even after patch. If its supposed to be a on summon one time direct AE heal, tell us. If it's supposed to regen health on group while it's up for 30 sec, let us know. Without this information we cannot be sure that Shadowy Attendant is "working as intended" because we have no clue as to what the "intention" is.

Message Edited by Geilt on 09-18-2005 12:58 AM

Mine is only adp3 but it heals for about 110 and then does nothing. I took off Runic and no ward chat in battle spam shows up at all. No heals, no nothing.

I heard it was "supposed" to grant each member a ward for about 150 at adp1 that refreshes every 4sec or so.

But your master 1 doing 55 a tick is still kinda useless.

I have Master 1, and other than the initial heal upon casting, it does nothing.

Annoying, for sure. Though , you can't beat a 1500 point group heal for 60 mana.

Personally I like the animation / sound. It is very obviously doing something now, and I appreciate the visual and audible cue that lets me know. I would like the range extended so I dont have to stand on top the mob to get the heals on everyone.

When my duo partner complained about the sound effect I just told him it was music to my ears. I love this little guy now. He's saved our bacon many times when I was low on power.

I like what the pet is doing now but I still wonder if it's fixed or not.

I'd like it to stay the way it is but honestly it's better than I expected it to be.

It's doing a nice HoT during it's 20sec duration quick ticks that got from about 111hp to 145hp to the group at adept1 unfortunately mobs do like to kill him early from time to time. He has to be close range to heal everyone and often takes AoE damage. I cast the spell once as an AoE hit.... It appeared that I summoned a dead badger, I thought it was a joke maybe it was nerfed to a morbid fun spell to summon dead animals. Then I checked my logs and saw that he got hit =)

Message Edited by Zavit on 10-05-2005 09:12 AM

I like the spell, but am not all that happy to see there is no difference between an app 1 and a master 1. Can this be updated so it heals for more when you upgrade the spell??

Thanks,

Master 1 hits for about 175-180 per tic. Also my favorite spell =)

How many seconds is a tick? I havent really played with the spell since they fixed it, but then again, I haven't really been in the position to.

The whole group was around half health from some AEs after a fight last night, so I pulled out my beaver (who looked better before he was a ghost, imo). He of course spawned right at my feet and immediately started healing the tank for about 150 in quick succession (maybe once a second?). The whole group was pretty close together, and of course I was practically standing on top of it, but he ignored the rest of us. It seemed pretty insignificant, especially after the templar cast a group heal and put us all near full instantly. :smileyindifferent:

I believe a tic for this particular spell is about every 2 seconds. Badger lasts 20 seconds so about 10 tics total. I haven't timed it, but when badge is out, he heals like a machine gun. Koju Antonia Bayle

The badger heals every 3 seconds. I get seven group heals to any injured party in the group. In a full group, if I run up to melee range (or melee range has run up to me), he usually heals everyone but the chanter and the ranger, both of which are typically standing off a bit out his range. Regular groups, I've actually seen a "hug the badger" effect of some of the stand off players running up close enough to catch the heal effect when they see the badger come out.
