View Full Version : Which special trainings/abilities should are worth taking?

<DIV>a 47 mystic here...know my class preety well but obiously not a hardcore player like some of the top mystics here(banditman,mystique etc)</DIV> <DIV>so was kinda wondering..now after combat revamp which specialized trainings..and abilities are now worth taking..I know it used to be the cures but dont think they're around anymore..also saw banditman's post about taking the in combat regen skill...took it as first one..but now i get to choose again and not sure if i should take it twice...will it stack(yeah i know i'ts a stupid question to ask because they wouldnt offer me it if it wouldnt stack but not taking any chances here)..</DIV> <DIV>help will be appreciated(will be nice to add why those skills/spells are worth taking)</DIV>

It does stack, and if somehow its broke on you specificly where it ends up not stacking...we are getting a respec next week. <div></div>

<div></div>This question was asked in the Beta forums, and a Dev responded that all trait choices stacked. I took both of them. (+10) I have Battlement of the Mind (+7), Prismatic Glow (+12) and Flowing Thought V (+5). I have natural regen as normal for my level (+5). I have a Manastone. (+12) All of those give me a total in combat regen of +51. Having an Enchanter or Bard in the group gives me even more. I rarely have power issues unless we are chain pulling with a designated puller who is not the MT. I realize that many people do not have those kinds of resources at their disposal, but it is not out of the realm of possibility for folks to get close. A person with only modest guild resources at their disposal can get to +32 at L50 with relatively little difficulty. Manastone gives + to power regen now? I havent inspected mine, just accepted it as mostly the same when I clicked it and got the health to mana transfer. <div></div>

Manastone returns 120 power when used, and can be used every 60 seconds, which comes to +12 per tick. I have a bell set up in my parser that tells rings 60 seconds after I use mine so I know immediately when it's time to hit it. Ah, alright, that makes sense. And even better...it doesnt count on your cap of max power regen. <div></div>
