[expletive ninja'd by Faarbot] indeed... i hope this is a joke. I absolutely love and am very dependent on the extra damage from my bear form. This better be replaced in some other skill or something as that change really really pisses me off, no matter how well they fixed wards.

Yeah, the proc has been removed for a while now on beta, and it bums me out too. I like meleeing and enjoyed seeing those nice damage numbers when Maul fired.

Also it seems that Protective Spirits was replaced with Ancient Balm, as pictured above. At first glance this seems to be really useful, especially on the MT in a raid situation.

Message Edited by Eloora on 09-06-2005 12:58 PM

Does the ward actually heal for any remaining points on expiration now? Or have they just not bothered to fix the text yet?

So basically, we're back to where we were before the last week of the original beta, with wards mitigating & healing. :smileysurprised:

You've double-checked this yourself? I just find it hard to believe is all. If so that would put a big grin on my face.

Too bad group ward doesn't work the same! I can just see it now..../ooc Mystic wanted for PL, PST!

Now maybe we can read our spell descriptions and actually believe them for once!

Im looking at that Ancient Balm spell.. If im reading that right does that mean if I cast that on myself or main tank they cant get rooted or stunned ? That could come in very handy in raids or against cetain mobs

The mechanic that really needs tested though is the old push expire trick. Cast a Ward, before the Ward drops, recast it and "push" the expiration on it to see if it then turns into a heal. Ancient Balm is a cure, not a preventative.
Message Edited by Banditman on 09-07-2005 10:44 AM
