First let me echo that its not all that useful. But there are times when it can see some use. If your group is taking on hard content and 3 of 6 die on a bad pull/add/etc this can be used instead of waiting for the long recast on the single target rezzes. There were a couple times in the course of my leveling up to now where it would have been useful, but none since I have got it. heh

While it is certainly not an end-all-be-all spell, it can come in handy in the right situations. On some high end raids, there will be a massive pile of bodies after a wipe. If you can be feather-rezzed and a feather-rezzed tank tank can pull a corpse-camping mob away for a few (10-15 secs) you can rez your other 5 and get them to a safe location to aid in another corpse-camper pull. I have done this a few times in Shattered Stillness to get the post-death elementals off of our group and begin the healing process.

Ensure that you have a Line-of-Sight on all groupmembers!!!!

This is key, as you don't want a stray member that ran and is under a different mob to gain insta-aggro.

Certainly, certainly not a vital spell, but like many utility spells in game are useful in the right circumstances.

-------

Psolumn Psolacq

50th Mystic of Lucan D'Lere

Yes it is bugged but furies have a group res that does actually work and it is a little help sometimes... not something you look forward to using by any means, but it does have its uses.

One good use is yelling to your scout to evac while your casting it to make sure everyone gets taken with you.

Plus the dirge doesnt get his res till 45 (pally 44).

Also with raiding there are normally bodies everywhere where it is a little tedious ressing one at a time.

It's not really bugged just that the spell does have a range of effect, and it will allow you to cast it even if only one dead grp member is in range. It does definately have it's uses. On quite a few Darathor raids where that stupid lizard got glitched I was runnin naked under him to invite the closest 5 corpses and using it to rez knowing the second I rezed someone he was gonna eat me (but allow those rezzed to back away) So instead of dying once for each rez it was once for each 5 rezzes.

I've had uses for it several times, and when I used it rezzed everyone that was close. (the guy that ran far before dying I had to go fetch with another spell). If you aren't doing trivial encounters and for some reason you get adds or if your group isn't stacked you can find uses for this spell I can guarentee<G>.

I use this spell frequently on raids because there are times when you want to get everyone up ASAP...

Example...say your a mystic and your group wipes. Luckily a monk FD in time and has a rez item. While you lay there a ^ ^ ^ or a lvl 50 epic x 2 mob is wandering back and fourth over your group...at the right moment the monk gets up and rezzes you. You can't go anywhere and can't find safety before the mob returns. In this situation, if everyone is close - sometimes you have no choice, use fields of grey. Everyone is back up and hopefully a scout type is in the group. If so, the scout has just enough power to evac...

In the above example if you used single rez you would likely be attacked by the epic mob and the whole group would wipe again.

Another note is that it does not have the power of the warden and templar group rezzes. When I use it it gives, just an estimate, like 5% of life and power back to the group whereas wardens and templars give 50/50 back.
