Trying to decide on which would be a better buff bot for my second account. Please give your advice all you experts out there and why Warden > Mystic or Mystic > Warden for these purposes (or if you recommend any other class instead).<div></div>

What class(es) are you needing buffed? What type of play are you looking for? Solo, Group, Raid? <div></div>

Sorry I am brand new and quite overwhelmed. Anyhow my main is a Ranger so I am looking to go primarily with just my Ranger soloing, and maybe sometimes dual-boxing when in the mood. So I guess I am looking for buffs that enable me to kill quicker and perhaps survive if overwhelmed/slight tanking (being a scout and all). <div></div>

<div></div>With a ranger I would suggest a warden. A fury could also be a nice choice, but they have ALOT of short duration buffs, so if you were looking for something you can mostly ignore, they probably arent it. Druids are nice for this because 1) The stat they boost the most is Agility, the most important stat for scouts. 2) They are balanced away from debuffs towards other things like buffs and dps. This means that you dont need to pay attention to them if you dont want to, and its easy enough to hit a nuke key every so often. 3) They have the very good instant heals(they have an added heal over time component), so if you get in trouble they can heal you back up quickly. Edited to remove the word "best" for something more descriptive. <div></div><p>Message Edited by Eepop on <span class=date_text>07-20-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:03 PM</span>

Ok, geez. I was just saying that they have very good instant heals when you take the added heal over time into account. As for the faster casting mystic heals, we also have a slower recast than the other classes to the point that our cast+recast cycle is longer than other classes. Relax, I love my mystic, I just think a druid is better for his situation. <div></div>

Sry if I gave you the wrong impression mate, was meant to be a clarification, not an attack on your statement <img src="/smilies/3b63d1616c5dfcf29f8a7a031aaa7cad.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /> <div></div>

<P>We are sitting only a few short weeks (if SOE is to be believed, draw your own conclusions) from a major combat revamp which may render any choice you make now completely wrong.</P> <P>Fair warning.</P>

And although thier instant heals may be getting toned down, thier regens will probably be getting a good boost.</span><div></div>
