Help! I just mined my first Coral and...

Agreed. Healing Ritual.  Without a doubt.  Dont worry about the group wards, they are nice, but adept 1 drops are fairly common so you should be able to find them for a decent price on the broker. <div></div>

In terms of power to health ratio, healing ritual adept 3 is better than enlightened healing adept 3. Bounty of the Virtuous is even more efficient but can not be upgraded. <div></div>

<P>Thank you all for your suggestion.  I would not have thought of that.  I took your advice and upgraded "Healing Ritual".  Pretty nice... went from App I to Adept III added about 110+ more HP of healing power.  Yeah... I found a Jasper last night.   I've already upgraded Healing Ritual. What's the second choice for upgrading in Tier III? I wasn't even planning on mining last night, but running past a rock in TS I remembered I had an outstanding quest for rocks so stopped -- found a Jasper and a Palladium. <div></div>

For a jasper, you really have to find something immediately useful to you.  Every spell you get from 20-29 gets a new version in higher levels that shares a recast timer with it. As far as immediately useful, I am a staunch supporter of upgrading your direct heals for the current state of the game. So I would say spiritual replenishment probably.  It doesnt get upgraded until level 41.6 <div></div>

I notice I am about to get Ancestral Ward.  Does it stack with my Level 20 training ward?  Is this worth upgrading? What about Wards of Shadow?</span><div></div>

Again, through all levels group ward adepts drop fairly often, so you can expect to be able to get an adept 1 fairly easily. As for single target ward, it would be more useful after the combat rebalancing, but by then you will probably be closing in on the upgrade.  As it stands now, at level 30,  you will develop a deep disgust for the current state of wards.  And the only promise we have on when the rebalancing will come is before Desert of Flames in september. <div></div>

My question was for the guy who started the thread....He was asking about upgrading a lvl 34 spell with a coral....I wasnt sure if they had changed what rares do what lvls since I havd played last.

Ah, okay.  I think he was just a bit confused on what spells he could upgrade with his coral.  For reference, the precious gems you can use to make adept 3s... Lapis Lazul: 1-9 Coral: 10-19 Jasper: 20-29 Opal: 30-39 Ruby: 40-50 you can also use a "precious metal" as follows Copper : 1-9 Silver: 10-19 Palladium*: 20-29 Ruthenium: 30-39 Rhodium: 40-50 * Palladium will rarely be used for spells because it has a high market value due to being used in the Glowing Black Stone Heritage Quest. <div></div>

It is the tier 1 root rare. Things you can do with root rares... Make a rug or a painting for your apartment.  (Carpentry) Make mage cloth armor. (Tailoring) Make Hex Dolls [gives a stat and you can click to debuff an enemy]   (Tailoring) <div></div>
