Yeah there's only one spell for each archetype, here's the one for Priests...

Haven't used it yet, your post reminded me to go buy it :smileywink:

Edit: After tallying up the heal to power ratio, this heal is more efficient than both Healintg Ritual and Rejuvenating chant at adept 3. The power increase (10% chance) when it procs makes it even more efficient., albeit a rather small heal. Note that I do not believe this can be upgraded to adept 3 like Umbral Trap could. There is no recipe associated with the Splitpaw spells. When I mouse over Bounty of the Virtuous, the name is white and the spell tier isn't displayed, much like our insta cast spells.

Regards,

Message Edited by Eloora on 07-01-2005 11:45 AM

Anyone know where to get the recipe book to make this spell? Interested to see what the stats on an Adept III are. Also, can you tell me if it's a Moon or Cup spell? Curious to know where it would fit in an HO. //lollygagger

Where do you pick this up? Can you get it in S. Qeynos?

If this is on a separate recast timer, it might be worth picking up. I haven't ordered Splitpaw yet, or Bloodlines for that matter. I won't hijack the thread with reasons. But, if we get a heal on another timer, at least we can burn through mana faster than before.

Thanks Eloora...was hoping for a spell a bit higher (say 30s-low 40s) but I guess It's decent.

Re-read my post lollygagger, I edited it with extra info shortly after posting the first time.

You buy the spell at the little gnoll village from the merchant, you get to it by making your way through the upper tunnels. The first zone is relatively easy and involves some minor problem solving that will be a main theme of this AP. The second zone is a bit trickier :smileywink:

.

I had to do 1 or 2 more quests in Splitpaw after getting my porting shard to unlock the spell fropm the merchant there.

The Symbol for it is that little symbol that isnt in any HO's. But its a nice extra stack and if you dont need to complete/advance a HO its a solid spell.

It also scales w/ lvl I would imagine. This are the lvl 50 stats I think.

The proc on this heal is.....odd. This is the message I get most of the time when I use this heal:

YOU try to smite YOURSELF with Bounty of the Virtuous, but YOU resist.

Now, i understand that the +power proc is only a 10% chance, it's just funny to see myself resisting it, when goodness knows in reality such a thing wouldn't happen :smileyvery-happy:

Let me get this straight. When you cast this spell, you are healed, and you get a buff that creates a 10% chance to
give you some amount of power with every attack you make? How long does the buff last?

Not exactly. When you heal someone using this spell, you have a 10% chance to get some extra power back. That's it. It does refresh rather quickly but as yet I've never witnessed it actually procing.

This is a great spell, I've just recently picked it up and its power -> heal ratio is great. It costs less to cast than healing ritual (which I, and i know many other high lvl mystics out there are still using) and the added chance to proc a lil power back my way is just icing on the cake.
