Playing a Frog summoner...going to betray and make that Froglok necro Ive wanted to have ever since I set foot in Sebilis for the first time. <div></div>
CBA to go through it all again... its not like its a new game cause you change your class. Answer is im taking a break and might return if I like what happens to the game in the next.. 3-6 months. If its still messed up at that point I probably wont return.

<font color="#ffff00">>>>its not like its a new game cause you change your class.<<< <font color="#ccffff">In some ways it can be. I haven't been low level since December. I am currently adventuring in the Commonlands, where I spent my low levels last time in Antonica. I am also grouping much more, where before I didn't join any groups until I was at least 16 and only rarely after that.</font> </font><div></div>

<DIV>a) Started a druid. Will go fury I think. I know furies arn't the best healers but at least I'm going into it with knowledge of that ahead of time and regens actually work which is a nice change.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I am not having much of a problem since my grouping is confined to a tight group of online friends and I solo a bunch. My 36 Mystic seems to be doing okay. I also am a 41 Woodworker which takes up a good portion of my game time. Our guild does not do much in the way of raids and tends to create its own contests and events. I am sure that in some ways starting an alt could freshen up the game a bit, but that is just not my play style. In EQ1 I only had one main for most of the 6+ years (still active) and sadly it was a Shaman. I see no reason to start an alt now when I find the game currently so lacking. I am just hoping that new expansions may help, but my guess is that come this time next year I may well be living in another game world. <div></div>

I'm a glutton for punishment: I have a 31 Conjurer as my alt.

I've tried to play other classes, but I just hate restarting from the beginning. I've tried a Bard to lvl 11 and a Mage to level 8 but they just don't interest me like the Mystic even though it is so gimped. <div></div>

<P>Despite what some of my posting may seem to say my Main is still my Mystic.</P> <P>Mystic is a Love/Hate relationship but I will not abandon it due to balance issues I just love the rp aspect of it. Alts though are an obsession for me. My second favorite class is real close. It would be Paladin. I have a 31 and 25 Paladin (2nd is due to my fiance getting the game and it just seemed more fun to do it again w/ her). It would be followed by a tied third guardian/swashbuckler. Guardian is easier to get a group going than my paladins half the time and I do love ta tank. But swashbuckler is because I am HO fanatic love playing the wheel.</P> <P>Toons I have:</P> <P>44 Mystic, 31 Paladin, 26 Guardian, 25 Paladin, 24 Swashbuckler, 20 Wizard, 18 Brawler, and 11 Cleric.</P>

<DIV>I am focusing on my Mystic - lvl 26 now and at 22 provisioner. I still find it one of my fav. characters for soloing - esp now that I have a great set of armor from my guild's tailor :smileyhappy: </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My Fury is on hold at 25 until my friend I duo with starts playing again - we level these together and I don't want to get too far ahead.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>My soon to be Wiz is a great damage dealer but so weak :smileysad: Every time I die I am encumbered and can't walk lol. I've been neglecting this one but will likely transfer Bibly to Oasis :smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV><p>Message Edited by Godflower on <span class=date_text>06-08-2005</span> <span class=time_text>11:03 AM</span>

got 2 "alts that are mains until the great balancing" a 23 coercer - someone shoot me now... a 32 guardian - WOOT! I finally made a good choice! Plus I still do plenty of tradeskilling and my 36 mystic is very good at harvesting, being able to carry 3 teak strongboxes and more if I really wanted to push it. OMG, did I just alert SOE to the fact that mystics are still good at something? Good bye harvesting... <div></div>
50 mystic playing a 30 bruiser. Not excluding cancelling for a while and see what happens with the game and/or picking up another game or returning to another. Already reactivated another game for 1 month, planning to reactivate another next month. <div></div>
<P>First visit back to the Mystic forums in about a month. I have long since retired my Mystic and deleted the character <img src="/smilies/9d71f0541cff0a302a0309c5079e8dee.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" /></P> <P>I am now playing my lvl 34 Warden and doing alot more tradeskilling. I liked my Mystic, but I love my Warden.</P>
e) Continue playing my Mystic because it's still fun. <div></div>

50 Mystic Main -- I just play to raid and get more masters and fabled gear. Alts - too many to list. I have a character in every achetype. <div></div>
Erm... I played my alt to a level 48 Conjuror before I started my Mystic/Paladin combo (who are now 30/30)... <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Does that count?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>(And yes, I'm a glutton for punishment, as anyone can see based on those three class choices)</DIV>

Started a wannabe warlock a while ago. My mystic will gather dust at least till healer/combat patch, it is damned boring to play as it is so broken. <div></div>

When the haze nerf came i had my mystic (main 36), conjuror (alt 30), troubador(alt 26), and wizard (alt 24). Now some time later its in this order .... Conjuror (main 49), mystic (alt 37), troubador (alt 35), wizard (alt 29), and beserker (alt 2<img src="/smilies/b2eb59423fbf5fa39342041237025880.gif" border="0" alt="SMILEY" />. I hate to say it, but mystics stink compaired to the other characters i have. Kills take forever compaired but wouldnt be so bad if i wasnt having to heal so much since at my current level wards are useless. Anyone stating other wise only needs to do one simple test. Find a green mob, lowest green you can find, and attack it with auto attack then turn off autoattack. Dont cast anything and let the mob hit away. Do this till the mob runs out of power then start your watch and sit there for 3 minutes not attacking and watch the mobs melee damage output. Once your 3 minutes are up start casting a ward on you and see what damage the ward is absorbing, do this for about 3 minutes as well and you will see what im talking about. Our heals currently take to much power for us not to have use of our specialties like wards. Needless to say my mystic, however much i would love to play it, will remain retired until after which time i can actually fight something other than blue or green mobs and kill them as effeciently as my other classes. Being out of power after killing a blue single mob kinda sucks.</P> <P>Mudpies 49 Conjuror Blackburrow</P> <P> </P>
