<DIV>It may have been my imagination, I was busy and didn't have time to test it thoroughly, but from glancing at my chat window last night it <EM>appeared</EM> that my Ancestral Ward was absorbing mitigated damage.  Yes, mitigated.  I'm scared to mention it because it obviously must be a bug if I'm correct.  :smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Can anyone confirm or deny?  I'm going to watch it closely tonight and test it.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>EDIT:  For Grapenutz  :smileyvery-happy:</DIV><p>Message Edited by Darkemoon on <span class=date_text>05-19-2005</span> <span class=time_text>04:23 PM</span>

<DIV>LOL, I was really scared to post this for that very reason and after I read your response I almost went back and edited out the content.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>From what I've read, a lot of Mystics don't even use this line so if its true I wanted them to see it and check it out.  If its legitimate, we could be back in the game.  The healing game, that is.  So, I'll let the post stand and keep my fingers crossed that its not a bug.  :smileywink:</DIV>

<P>It seemed like wards were acting the same when our guild was raiding in the common lands and antonica epic zone encounter last night. I was in the main tank group and everyonce in awhile i would use my ward on the main tank and it would go down as soon as I casted it. </P> <P> </P> <P>Mishra - 48 Mystic - Mob Squad -Kithicor</P> <P> </P>

<DIV>Well after thinking about it I realized that no one from SOE looks at the Mystic board(I think any attention we get is from the spells board). Here's what I noticed:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Ancestral Aegis works better now, but the group wards however still need help. When I say better I don't mean it's GREAT like my wife's templar reactives but it lasts 2 or 3 hits now instead of 1. Also I haven't seen the unmitiagated spill over effect when the last hit knocks the ward off and the unmitigated damage hits the target.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>This is anecdotal, I didnt have the log turned on at the prismatic raid last night.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Oh yeah just in case they do accidentally look at our board, you may want to change the thread title to something less attention grabbing like "Updated ward statistical analysis". If the wards are "fixed" accidentally they will take the fix away.</DIV>

I tested it and is still the same. The normal 500-600 hits were using the whole 1291 ward.

<DIV>It's funny, this was the second time it looked like wards were mitigating for a day or two and then *poof* back to normal old crap. Testing after the epic mob boost patch yesterday indicates same old wards.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Typical.</DIV>

And we all know they'd never let anything from the balancing patch slip to the Live servers and not go back and patch it back out.  <div></div>

They were better but still nothing compared to regen or reactives.</P>
