I was just going to post the same observation. This is unbelievable. "Oh no, we can't fix wards or haze or healing till we revamp combat and spells." What total BS! It seems SOE can fix everything but Mystic spells. At what point do they tell us that Mystics were never intended to be in the game and we just need to roll a cleric? BTW, here's a complete list of the newest changes to Spells and Combat Arts Brawler changes: - Indomitable Will now provides greater benefits when upgraded. Crusader changes: - Knight's Stanceno longer gives a skill boost to Tower Shield since it isn't a knowledge Paladins possess. - Offering of Armament no longer allows the Crusader to cancel the negative effects while the target retains the positive effects. The spell description has been clarified. Inquisitor changes: - Forced Submission, Forced Acquiescence, and Forced Compliance will provide greater benefits when upgraded. Paladin changes: - Aegis of Hope no longer gives a skill boost to Tower Shield since it isn't a knowledge Paladins possess. Scout changes: - Upgraded versions of Sneak should allow the use of other abilities that require the Scout to be in stealth mode. Templar changes: - Reproach debuffs additional magic/mental/divine resistance as the spell is upgraded. Warden changes: - Primal Instinct and Primeval Instinct will provide greater benefits when upgraded. Warlock changes: - Paralyzing Fear should indicate its effects more clearly. The secondary effect and the fear component no longer use the same icon. Wizard changes: - Ring of Cold should now correctly snare the target. <div></div>

No love for Mystics, Conjurors/Necro and Illusionnist/Coercer. *sigh*

<DIV>My limited thoughts on the matter is this:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It's not that mystics weren't supposed to be in the game, it's that they honestly don't know what to do to fix us. Clerics heal quickly and high numbers, druids heal proactively, mystics just kinda heal, with no benefit. We have long recast times, and wards (the main part of our balancing) are messed, although they work a little better now.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think SOE just really doesn't know what to do with us. Doesn't know how to fit us into the balance equation, and make it possible for us to keep a full group alive in a dangerous situation. They just don't know.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>So they putter around, fix some minor spells here and there, but largely ignore it. I HOPE they aren't waiting for us to all role clerics, cause that isn't going to happen. Eventually they will have to do something, but it may not be in my lifetime!</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Canaan Farseer</DIV> <DIV>37 Mystic</DIV> <DIV>Unrest</DIV>

They screwed slow totally in Eqlive and never managed to balance it. That resulted to useless shaman class. If that really is the reason we can as well quit playing mystics since we are never going to get fixes based on how "nicely" they handled similar problem in Eqlive.</span><div></div>
