In reference to the Shimmering Star Brestplate: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Looks like a file got changed that wasn't meant to go live. We'll be reverting the BP back to what it was in the next update. Sorry for the confusion, no ninja change was intended.

That said, we will look at the spell effect to determine whether it is overpowered or not in certain encounters. So the spell effect may change in the future, but the level and stats of the BP were not intended to change.

===========================MoorgardEverQuest II Community Guy

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

They're reverting it back and testing it for balance before they perminately change it???????? now how about haze?

Message Edited by disrupt on 05-05-2005 01:37 PM

Maybe it's a breastplate monks can use/Moorgard owns. It's painfully obvious that nobody at SOE plays a mystic. After LU7 when there were damage nerf fears, Moorgard responded in that thread 55 minutes after the initial post that it was being looked at...not that they would look at it, but that it was being looked at.

What do Mystics get? Accused of abuse by using an overpowered spell and told to live with it until they decided to throw us a bone and balance the priests. If history is any indicator, I wouldn't hold my breath for some great reward come priest balance. Remember, SOE is always right and the player is always looking for a way to work the system.
