I just had to chuckle when I read that. My wife is a 46 Mystic and has been waiting for a very long time to see Mystic changes in the patch notes. And now, at long last, there they are.

That was it for us. We cancelled both of our accounts.

It seems Howling haze is not included in the patch note on test but it has been nerfed on live .... Did Moorgard really know this game or did he play too much to WoW

My bro is lvl 50 shaman.

He hates the game more every day. The only reason he logs on is cause I beg him to. Im pretty sure he will cancel his account very soon.

The hope I live on is that the new combatchanges will be good and priestbalancing in LU#8 will be very good for shamans and that he actually dont cancel his account before we know what will be changed in LU#8. Yeah, shammy's where uber and really needed on raids in EQ1 now we can just replace them with a warden np.

If he cancels his account, it will lead to me, my g/f and her sisters canceling aswell.

Im sick of this game and all nerfs. Not to mention the lack of imagination on the zerging adds on raids that gives crappy loot.

Let's clarify that a little . . . . EQLive Shaman were able to solo some things that others could not because they had an extremely powerful AA called Virulent Paralysis. You "needed" exactly one Shaman on a raid to MGB Focus and that's it. Chanters and BL's could Slow equally well in a raid or group setting, some might even say better.

It seems to be time to order WoW. I play this game to have fun and mystic is not fun to play. It was not very fun before the nerf because of lacking healing. And now it is not fun at all. When fun disappears I find something else to do, something that IS fun. And I take my money with me. SOE still has not learned even the basics of customer service. They have years and years of experience of how NOT to do it and they still do not learn. Amazing...

Damned, I cannot get WoW. It has been sold out in whole country (including web shops). And they have no idea when they get next shipment.

That's because Blizzard can't handle their current load right now, so they've frozen the release of new clients until they can figure out how to get their servers to scale to their user load.

Half the people in my office switched from EQ2 to WoW, and they are just as happy with WoW as they were with EQ2 when they first started playing. However they are ripping through levels very quickly, and it wont take long to max out their characters. Then what?

BestBuy had a whole lot of new WoW's in last Friday. bestbuy.com

By the way, there are so few mystics as it is, I doubt SOE will notice if we all quit.

Message Edited by Arfiniel on 04-20-2005 09:24 AM

"Luckily", I have my L21 Conjuror/Sage to switch to for the 6-8 weeks I figure it will take them for the next two updates until they balance priests and fix wards/Mystics. He was my first character but now I just craft with him. Summoners are upset at having their balancing pushed backed until combat is fixed, but with nowhere near the pressing need (just made worse) of Mystics I am certain.

I would consider WoW but it has it's problems too, and I have friends playing EQ2. I may toy around with a scout even.

im hanging my shaman up. Im done working on my shaman. Its sad to say i will keep the account open, simply cause ive put over 80 days playtime into him and i could use him to heal my other account (a guardian). sigh... maybe after LU8 i will blink an eye at my shaman being worth something.
