<DIV>I had Prophetic guard at app II. I bought a adpet 1 version for 2.5g. When i cast it it actually only gave me 1 extra hp. Couldnt see any other stats that have changed. Am i missing something or have i just wasted my money.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Same with keening haze - sure when i cast ADEPT 1 it it lasts a lot longet than it did at app III still doesnt seem to make any difference what so ever to how hard / fast i am being hit while it is up.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Anyone else found this or am i just being dumb !!</DIV><p>Message Edited by ModPlod on <span class=date_text>02-28-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:55 PM</span>

<DIV>It probably has to do with your level. Your Adept I Prophetic Guard will continue to grow in strength as you level longer than App II will. But you likely haven't reached a level where you'd notice a significant difference. With that said, upgrading buff spells to higher spell qualities is kind of hit or miss. There's definately a law of dimishing returns when upgrading buffs, so I usually don't bust my back trying to obtain buff upgrades beyond App 3. If an Adept I is availble at a decent price, I'll by all means scoop it up, but I don't fret over finding one.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

<DIV>Agree, with buffs it's really hit of miss. For the level 40+ buffs I would say go for Adept I if you can find for under 6g. I have most of them already at the 3 - 4g price. Then again, on my server, I only compete against 6 other Mystics for the higher level adepts. And the obelisk seems to be dumping them out lately.</DIV>

<DIV>Aye.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I think you might see a bigger difference if you would stick with the App 1 or App 2 until the buff got yellow, then upgraded it to Adept 1. Basically, allow yourself to grow into the spell for a while, then blow it up.</DIV>
