Debuff/Ward timers

<DIV>I feel really noobish in asking this question but I must ask nonetheless. I mainly solo and dont group much so this hasn't been a priority to figure out. But as I gained Mystic tag and am catching up level wise with guildies, Ill be grouping more often.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>How on earth can you SEE a debuff timer? Or a single (not group) ward timer that's set on your tank? Only way I can tell is by watching that crazy fast combat text looking for that blue line that races by indicating a ward has begun to fade or %t has recovered from so and so. Its distracting in battle to have to watch for this.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I have noticed since reading these forums that people have mentioned watching the timers on their debuffs/single toon wards. <DIV>First off you need to filter out your chat window or you could create a new one to help you manage the flow of information.  </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As for keeping tabs on wards, buffs and debuffs the best I can tell you is to set up your user interface so that your maintained spell bar is close to your main viewing area.  I tend to get tunnel vision in tough fights and rarely see what is going on out side of the groups health bars and my maintained spell bar.</DIV>

<DIV>Best way to follow timers is through maintained spell window. This lists all the spells that you have operating at any time. It lists your buffs that last for 12 hours and your shorter term spells. You can toggle this window by alt-m.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It makes following timers very easy, no need to bother with chat windows. Your wards, and slows and even SoW show up there and slowly darken as the timer runs through.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Hope that helps.</DIV>

<DIV>I'm not sure if the ward icon drops right away and if the text would tell you sooner but I can't watch for text it in all the spam of a raid.  Fighting a mob where one hit was more than the ward, the icon would be gone almost instantly after cast so it seems to be working.</DIV>
