<DIV>I just became a mystic two days ago and I just became the 43rd player to become a mystic. I like being the rare class but more to it was the misconception about mystics. I like them so far. Here's the ranking to my toon:</DIV> <DIV><A href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer_levels.vm?characterId=135115111" target=_blank>http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer_levels.vm?characterId=135115111</A></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>How rare or common is mystics in your server?? </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Wow! i never really checked that out, but now that i know im speachless.... Dinged 36 last nigh, was the 17th to do so,,, thats not a lot for a whole server lol</DIV> <DIV><A href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer_levels.vm?characterId=110244108" target=_blank>http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer_levels.vm?characterId=110244108</A></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>well... when everyone finds out how we rock, i wont wait for 2 hours anymore for a group!</DIV>
<DIV>Ok you made me look :smileyvery-happy:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I was the 19th person to ding 34th level defiler on Kithicor. Really shocks me that there are not lots more ahead of me, guess not as many people are going shaman out there as I was thinking.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer_levels.vm?characterId=113377106" target=_blank>http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer_levels.vm?characterId=113377106</A></DIV>

<DIV>Using the rank tool is a neat way to track your progress compared to others of your class. Doesn't do me much good when tracking the Mystic population on my server when I've been number one since level 12 :smileytongue:. Just did a /who all mystic though and came up with 97 at around 2:30PM EST. I'd say we have a healthy population on Permafrost, but not a large amount that are very high in level.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV>

I think it could depend a lot on the relative number of players on the server. On Najena at least, there're quite a few Mystics around, and I get at least a few tells every day from other Mystics asking or discussing about things pertaining to our class. <DIV>I was the 18th Mystic to hit lvl 35 on Crushbone. Seems pretty light to me, yet I do tend to see alot of Mystics running around.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer_levels.vm?characterId=224337203" target=_blank>http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer_levels.vm?characterId=224337203</A></DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Wow, no shortage on Guk. I was the 79th Mystic to reach lvl 30.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV><A href="http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer_levels.vm?characterId=128836101" target=_blank>http://eq2players.station.sony.com/en/pplayer_levels.vm?characterId=128836101</A></DIV>

Now that explains why those spells don't sell so well. There is a very limited market for them.-NH

<DIV>It's more of a comparision of start date/play time as opposed to other players.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>someone could start a character today and make it to 50 in hours and it whould still should them being 5000th lvl 3 and 8th or so lvl 50.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I started day one and was the highest mystic for the longest time even 3-4 levels ahead of other mystics on the server till my friends quit playing and I started messing around with other alts and stuff, I've since been past by 1 mystic and like 3 defilers.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>so it's more of a measure of xptime/start date</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>If you get in a static grp and grind xp 10 hours a day and 15 hours when there's an xp bonus you're gonna past others up.</DIV> <DIV>If you play alts or craft you're gonna be passed up</DIV>

<DIV>Yes you have to pay the extra for those features from EQ2Players (fair or not is another topic).</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>There just aren't a whole lot of high level mystics. Even after trips out of town, static group breakups from people leaving the game (like the tank deleting his character while we are waiting in the middle of permafrost for him to get back) an lots of other disruptions, there were still only 21 ahead of me worldwide. I would expect three times or more that many templars to be at 50 by now.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>It seems that at the start most of the powergamers didn't trust shaman so they started clerics. I know when the three options were up at the end of the quest it was very tempting to select the safe cleric. Then wards got to be the big thing and lots started shaman, now wards are out of favor and I don't know if as many shaman are being created.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I like to think that we are better healers because we have to be. Too many templars just don't bother to learn how to get the most out of their tools.</DIV>
