Quelling Sprits: Can you cast it?

I hit level 27 a few days ago, and got the Quelling Spirits spell. I cast it once, just to see what it did, and it seemed to work as you think it might.Ever since then, though, I have not been able to make a successful cast. It *always* fizzles. I've tried it dozens of times, with no target, me targetted, the main tank targetted, and mobs targetted.Anyone else having this problem?

<DIV>First of all I would try to always target the mob or a mob that is actually hitting you. It's a surefire way not to use the spell in vain, as it will often go off otherwise, leaving you on the hate list of a mob with little to do about it. Second, the spell does seem to fizzle a lot, and sort of befuddled me for a while, but you get over it. It will fizzle less as you level and one day you'll prolly get the spell off without a hitch. For now, just spam the button untill you see that it's been used (and hopefully the mob turns away from you!). At 42nd you will have 3 total deaggro spells to use, the latest of which puts a ward on you and is supposed to reduce your hate with each hit.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Regards,</DIV>
