As the title says, I was just wondering if I get the 45% SoW like wardens do through achievements.  I looked through my achievements and didnt notice an upgrade to SoW.  Thanks for any help provided.<div></div>

nope. we do getta enhancement to our lion form though that makes us move faster in & outta combat. i got 5 points in it & it's 35% increase in speed. there's also an aa enhancement to pact of the cheetah too that makes it faster & lasts up to...i THINK...55 secs. i personally like it more than the sow because yeah, it is only self (cept for the cheetah one) but...it's IN combat also, where sow's only OUT of combat. i dont even use my carpet anymore cause it's only a 5% increase over my natural buff<div></div>

KoS tree has a boost to in-combat run speed as well, if you pick that with the self buff and pact you can max out on run speed and race the horses in loping plains.

it's not only in combat. it's definitely in & out. when i look at my persona window, it says 35% speed increase. when i dont have the buff on, i can DEFINITELY tell that im movin WAY slower<div></div>

<DIV>in combat run speed works out of combat too if it is greater than your out of combat runspeed.  With the right aa's you can have permanent run speed greater than 40%, and what's even better is it stacks with sprint and cheetah.  Now if they would just raise the run speed cap i'd be able to do burst runs of 200%+:smileyvery-happy:</DIV>

aint nothing more fun than racing your guildies to a zone line and you zoom so far ahead of their nightmares that they lose you on tracking, especially when your a ratonga, super rat speed ftw!

Aye, I can't believe how long it's been going around these boards that in-combat works only 'in-combat'. In-combat means it's special in that it works in combat as well as out. All run speed buffs are out of combat. But they get confusing after that. Only buffs that are specifically for 'out-of-combat' stack with each other, and only 'in-combat' will stack with 'in-combat'. Whichever is higher will override the other. There's no bug with the peerless predator speed buff, by the way.<div></div>

I see.  When I looked at the actual buff itself it said in-combat.  When I checked my run speed it was not stacking with SoW.  So what you are all saying is in order to see any difference I need to turn sow off unless I have more than 2 ranks.  7% x 3 = 21%  etc.  My other question now is does it stack with J-Boots if it doesnt stack with SoW?<div></div>

<DIV>Enhanced Predator (+35%) + Heirophant's Movement [KoS WIS AA, Rank 8] (+10%) + Fae/Kerra Racial(+5%) = <STRONG><FONT color=#ffff00>+50% in-combat movement speed</FONT></STRONG> as long as you have the kitty buff up (which is permanent until cancelled). There may be other ways on PvE to boost this further but thats all I have for now. If you play in PvP I believe theres a pair of boots as a PvP reward that can boost this to 65%.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>All forms of in-combat movement speed stack with each other (unlike out-of combat). "In-combat" is a misgnomer it works both INSIDE and OUTSIDE of combat and is thus FAR FAR FAR superior to out-of-combat.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Annoy your Warden & Ranger friends by overtaking them while running backwards. It doesnt stack with SoW or JBoots. It does stack with Sprint and Pact of Cheetah.

Yeah it definately workd out of combat... I have 5 ranks in it and some of the KoS tree... I have a natural in-combat run speed fo 40%.I 2-box  with my main a bezerker who has a natural runspeed bonus of 0%... he gets on his 40% carpet... and I put my fury on /follow... I keep up just fine... if I don't put him on his carpet or I am in a dungeon the fury "stutter-steps" meaning that he is going so much faster he runs forward then stops and rusn forward and stops because he is waiting on my slow ogre butt to move. The Fury can walk backwards at a good speed... mounts can not.... my Ogre is jealous... you know how handy 40% runspeed in-combat with no backwards penalty would be for positioning mobs?<div></div>

You CAN get rooted when potc is active it only breaks a root when you cast it (once) but yes been using it quite some times on our mt now more often bc of the surveil nerf and social aggro.
