<div></div>I thought that druids could do this quest and could use the Sword of Thunder but when my fury go it a couple of months ago I wasn't able to start the quest. <a target="_blank" href="http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/items/BerikSwordofThunder.php">This page on ogaming</a> is probably out of date now. I ended up trading the starter over to my dirge and I'm now doing the quest with him. I just looked up Berik, Sword of Thunder in the eq2idb and it's now listed as only scouts, warriors and crusaders.Othesus - Dirge - Lucan DLereVaspar - Fury - Lucan DLere<div></div>

If I remember correctly even mages could use it for a bit before they fixed it.<div></div>

I have done this quest with my fury it was called berwicks revenge or similar, this was triggered by the talking sword in stormhold. however after i completed the BBC quest i realised that i should have kept the sword reward to make EBBC, at the time it  was anounced somewhere that if you had done the BBC quest you could do Sword of thunder once again to make EBBC, So for a long time i mentor in stormhold to get  a chest drop. with eventual succsess, but the sword simply wouldnt talk to me even though it had done so previously, so one presumes the quest like many others has been changed, pitty so much gametime was wasted needlessly. Full disclosure at the time would have been nice.! Recka L55 Fury <div></div>

<P>In answer to the original question, "Can a Fury use Berik, Sword of Thunder?"</P> <P>No.</P> <P> </P> <P>Can you still do the quest?</P> <P>I think so.  Min. level is probably 20.</P>

<DIV>Reading around this here and on other forums, there seems to be some doubt as to whether this quest is available to all professions. I have a warlock (lvl 37) and warden (lvl 21). I would appreciate it if someone would confirm whether or not either of these characters can do the quest? A friend who is a monk has been able to activate the quest. My sword just tells me to pass it on to someone 'who can wield me properly.'! </DIV><p>Message Edited by janmystique on <span class=date_text>05-10-2006</span> <span class=time_text>01:29 AM</span>
