Ring of Fire Pet Commands

Do any of the pet commands work with our Ring of fire pet?  How come the mob can target it but we cannot? <div></div>

It's not a real pet, so the pet commands don't work with it. If anything gets within its area of effect radius, it automatically attacks it. (Watch out for adds..)

I was really disappointed the first time I grouped with a Wizzy and they put up FoR. Thought that being an ancient teachings spell they should be unique!! :smileytongue:

Well, sometimes the rof pet get the aggro and then you see it targeted by the mob in the implied window.  Then you can heal it.  But if you keep the aggro, then you can't target it to heal.  At least that has been my experience.  I guess if you wanted to waste seizing thorns and get the mob to switch targets it would work. I think being a ring supposedly around you and not a static entity, I think it should move with you instead of staying in one spot.  Would help when you are trying to move away from wandering mobs getting too close. This spell has unique potential thats just not there atm.  Anyway the pet commannds question was not that big a deal, mainly just seeing if you could have it say its name or call you master or something. <div></div>

Healing RoF is fairly pointless. The spell has a limited duration, and you're better off recasting the spell. <div></div>
