<DIV>OK, A couple of questions:</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>1) Is WIS or INT more important. I'm about to order a hex doll and want some advice on which to get. I have a friend that is a Wizzie and he is a WIS [Removed for Content] but I'm not sure that applies to us Furies.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>2) I have been hoarding the inks to make adept3 spells. Which spells will last me the longest time as I work towards 50? I am leaning toward Wilding Elixer or should I go for a HoT like Fleshweave. Or should I just hold it until I get higher for a "perm" Adept3?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>3) I'm looking for a good set of shield/weapon for me to buy? I have about 50GP I can use. Any advice is welcome.<BR></DIV> <DIV>4) Last, where is the best place to hang for solo XP these days given our limited DPS? I'm into RV and just starting Feerott but the XP seems slow. Just planning for when the LFG doesn't work.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks in advance.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Rockon </DIV> <DIV>L38, TRG, Befallen</DIV>
<DIV>I'll leave questions 2 and 3 to someone with a little more knowledge than I, but at currently time (pre-combat changes) I recommend getting as much wisdom as possible. Next, try and focus on either stamina or agility. We get the most health per point of stamina of all the priest classes so it's a good idea to try and keep this high. Str and Int don't do anything for us. Str allows you to carry more, but we don't get melee bonuses for a high str. Also, we get no bonuses at all for Int. None. It's a worthless stat.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Now, post-combat changes, I'd recommend keeping wis and int close to the same. That's because int will effect the damage our spells do to an extent (basicly higher int, more bonus damage you do). Sta and Agi will still be important, but I'm not sure if we'll get any bonuses to str. Even if we did, I think it should still be low on the stat priority list.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As for your wizard friend, no idea why he's got a wis fetish. For him, wisdom is a completely worthless stat. All it does is give priests their power pool. Mages should strive to max out their int, pre and post combat changes. As it is now, Int gives mages thier power pools, and after the changes, it'll also effect the damage of their spells (same as ours). Wisdom will merely decrease the bonus damage from spells that mobs int gives them.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>-Rish</DIV>

<DIV>Just like Rish said you gotta MAX that wis out... im at about 254 wis self buffed but keep in mind I've been playing this toon as my main since day 1. </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>To answer question 2: At your level Wilding Elixer would be an effective spell to get adept 3, and IMO would be the first I would choose. At your level though I did not have that option, and don't think I had a single adept 3 until I turned 50 and started winning rubies and such. The next I might upgrade from T4 would be Barbed Skin. This will be the end all, be all of your damage shields until Porcupine at 50, which at this point is practically useless, and there are rare cases where this spell is called for. After that from T4 the only one left I'd upgrade would be Strike of Storms, as all the rest are upgraded in T5. DO NOT UPGRADE FLESHWEAVE, It becomes irrelevant at level 40 when you get Wild Bloodflow.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>As far as question 3 goes: I'd hold out for a cedar to get the buckler made. You get to T5 in 2 levels, so I'd just stick with the tier 4 common harvest shield until then (believe it's briarwood? c'mon, it's been a while). The T5 common, teak, isn't too bad as a buckler either and when choosing a weapon when you first reach T5 I'd go for the crafted pristine forged fulginate battle hammer or pristine forged fulginate scimitar, at least until you can complete the Heart of Fear access quest and get the Withered Totem of Widdershins or complete the Heritage quest for the Screaming Mace, although the Heirophant's Crook is not that bad either, and is fairly easy to acquire since many people are working on it in RV at those levels. Once you hit T5 though, hold out for the best because it might be the last item you use for a while.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Fair Winds and Following Seas, my friend....</DIV>

<P>1.) Your Wiz friend is an odd dude.. he is upgrading a worthless stat for him WIS means nothing for a WIZ.... INT means nothing for a PRIEST... it's the reverese that is true... until the combat changes I guess... but who knows if that will ever really happen or what the end changes will be.</P> <P>2.) Spirit of The Bat... it's a spell from Bloodlines... it has power regen that is a great T4 spell to burn an ink on.... after that I would mostly just sell the inks and buy T5 inks instead you are too close to 40 to waste your inks.... Wild Blood Flow is lvl 40 and is real nice when Adept 3.</P> <P>3.) Cedars go pretty cheap any more... get an Imbued Cedar Buckler made... and either an Imbued Cedar Wand or an Imbued Ebon Scimitar (ebons are still expensive)</P> <P>Also you should be getting as much T5 rare leather as possible... it's a nice upgrade just 2 lvls away.... do your manastone heritage and start on your Jboots (have to be lvl 42 to equip them so you have 4 lvls) after that you want to look for screaming mace heritage starter (agony named mob in feerot) and start on GEBs in Lavastorm at 42.</P>
