<DIV>Hi All</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I am looking for some advice on which tier 5 weapon i can use, i am nearing level 40, and would really like to have a crafted ebon sword, but was not sure if we can use them or not ? can we use the one handed crafted ebon sword ? and the crafted cedar buckler ?</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>any info would be greatly appreciated, </DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Thanks</DIV>
<P>I think a lot of level 40s use a cedar buckler if they can get it, personally I haven't been able to acquire one yet and am using an item called an Unholy Tablet in my offhand slot. I am working on Screaming Mace for my weapon and am using another mace atm, but it's a level 30's weapon that's green to me at 45. I also use the Heirophant's Crook a lot. </P> <P>I've personally never used a player-crafted weapon, but I've heard that the heritage/higher-end quest weapons are much nicer. In any case, definitely check out the stats and do some research before you spend the money on the rare items, because the higher level quests start to give some nice rewards, and you might be able to save yourself some coin or some harvesting time. </P>

<DIV>I think the screaming mace is the next best thing to the prismatic weapons, however, those both are a ways from me. My group hates camping, and I've never found Agony up in Feerrott on my way to Cazic Thule. However, the quest reward I got from doing the Heart of Fear quest was like Withered Tome of Widdershins or something like that. That is a sweet weapon. I was able to equip it when I dinged 44, and it's been amazing. It's like 11 WIS and 40 power + other stats and a proc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>Even aside from that weapon, there are a handful of drops that you will find that are decent. I wouldn't waste my money on ebon for a weapon. Even w/ a good weapon, your damage won't really come from the melee hits. It'll come from your bloodlusted wounds, maul, blessed weapon proc and the occasional fae flames/fire proc.</DIV> <DIV> </DIV> <DIV>I got lucky and found a piece of cedar on the broker for 25gp. You might be able to find some really good deals every now and then. As good as the cedar is, I was using a pristine conditioned teak buckler before that, and it was not shabby at all. I'd look into getting one of those while you wait for cedar.</DIV>
<P>While I've been waiting on my cedar buckler, I've been using the Censer of Agony. It's a 12wis/int offhand item. I miss having a shield, but this will do until my shield is ready.</P> <P>For a weapon, I've been using the Ebon Battlehammer until I finish the Screaming Mace heritage or HoF access and get Withered Totem of Widdershins. I also use the Yakesha (just cuz I have it) to keep up my sword skill.</P> <P>I haven't really looked into crafted weapons much.</P>
i've been using the oakmyst scimitar for a while now. got lucky and it dropped from lord whoever in nektropos. it's got a plus to five stats, dex and wisdom being at +7... and i'm a dex and wis build so they work nicely together for me. got me a piece of ebon that will soon become a imbued scimitar, when the recipe hits live. purple sword, purple robe = sexy tier'dal. <div></div>

I am using a <STRONG>Proudfoot Morningstar</STRONG> (1hand crush, 7intel, 5agil, 6str, 6wis, 44health, 46power, 15-49 damage) which gives me a nice chunk of power/health with decent damage till I can get pris stuff or finish heritage. My sheild is a <STRONG>pristine umbued cedar buckler</STRONG> (8intel, 12wis, 34health, 34power, 280sheild factor and 5%change to proc 100ish damage on attacker). Good luck on your weapon whatever it may be:smileywink:

<P>Well i was going a bit imbued crazy hehe bought an imbued cedar wand which isnt so bad cause you hit quite hard with it and fast and have a free nuke at times tho what i dont like about it is the long casting time lik 8 secs or something (you can run and cast it tho so thats nice).</P> <P>And i bought an imbued ebon hammer which i like a lot (at least till i get my screming mace) it maxxes out at 15-45 does decent dmg and i love the proc it looks cool (like a lightning strike) and procs for a round 200 dmg at 5% (but it seems to proc more i had it proc 5! times in a fight tho it mostly procs once or twice in a fight).</P>

at lvl 38 i'm still using my enduring scepter of the jungle (gives a good 9 wis) and a ruthenium censor(another 8 or 9 wis), it does ok but the dmg is hella low, its more of a group combo to up my wisdom;P

<div></div>I was walking around in Castleview Hamlet when I saw a lvl 50 warden with a weapon called Prismatic Scepter of the Scale. I don't remember most of the stats because I was too busy looking at the +25 wis !!!! it had on it(and all the other items he had. He had an awesome 217 wis !!). I haven't looked into this weapon much but I think it is heritage(It had Lore as its classification). I currently use Proudfoot Morningstar which I got off Shaker in Rivervale which has +6 wis on it and Treebark Buckler +7 wis. Zhilena 45 Fury Neriak EDIT: here is link to Prismatic weapon O_O http://eq2.ogaming.com/db/items/PrismaticScepteroftheScale.php <div></div><p>Message Edited by PKennyK on <span class=date_text>04-06-2005</span> <span class=time_text>03:48 PM</span>
i picked up a sootfoot basher thingie of some kind in ef on the weekend. it's got a nice +11 to wisdom and the same to strength, so i guess i can carry more <span>:smileytongue:</span>. no power point bonus, but combined with the cedar buckler it's +23 to wisdom combined. it's alot easier to get than the widdershins totem as well... and insanely easier to get than the prismatic ones as well. <div></div>

I actually had that too J got it off some Goblin Whelp in LS, hehe, has a neat look. But the 11wis really doesn't give you that much. My mace with only 6 wis and 46 power ended up giving me like 25-30 more power then the Sootfoot thingie. You definatly want a combo of wis/power but you seem to get better bang for your buck on going for more power then wis on items. Think its only 4power per 1 wis or some such.
<P>i think it's 4.5 to 1 or some such for wisdom over 150 or so, then reverts back to 1 point of mojo per point of wisdom post 200, as it does for mages.</P> <P>i've been using the screaming mace for a while now, but since it's such a pita to get, i thought i'd throw out some ideas on other stuff that looks neat.</P>
